Benilde guards has been doing a solid job in lieu of ynot's absence. Every one stepping up, every one doing their job, next man up mentality.

Yeah he should. I remember Ricci Rivero losing his MVP in the NCAA Jrs because of an ejection.

              • Benilde with another 100 pt game, 4th 20+ win. This is how good this team is if they minimize those to's.

That carillo dunk at the end was just the icing in the cake

                • Maybe just me but I think Benilde lost their edge with Ynot gone. That guy could really be the X-factor in their championship aspirations. I predict them to lose in the semis.

They lost one of their most dependable perimeter defender but the team is still loaded in every position that even with him gone. Benilde can still get by. And so far everyone has stepped up and somehow replaced what he brings in the game; oli and jarque his outside shooting, cometa his leadership, torres and cajucom his shot creating and ancheta his overall impact in the game. Not to mention other guys, like sanchez has upped their defensive intensity. Making it seem like they dont miss him out there. Real test however will be against mapua and san beda. Tho charles tiu is hopefully he'll be back by then. His official status is out indefinitely and that he hasnt been officially ruled out of the season means that there's still a chance he'll comeback later on.

Really? After just scoring their 2nd 100 pt game against a team that gave fits against other contenders like mapua and san beda? If were being honest ynot's absence is not the key to defeating them. Its mostly the turnovers.

This. I mean this just proves csb has one if not the deepest team this year. Especially in the guard and wing spots. Ynot is a top 2 caliber kind of player, any other team that misses him, may struggle big time. But for csb they've gone 3-1. 2 of those were lopsided wins. Ill be more worried if Liwag is the one that gets hurt. If that happens no matter how you look at it, the blazers are toast.

                        • i kinda like ancheta more than ynot. i know ynot's the more prolific guard but he settles for contested threes a lot. granted, he's been shooting it well for college standards but i think ancheta can be just as productive if he had a bigger role.

i don't think so. i still think csb can still play small since a lot of their wings are as tall as other team's bigs and just as athletic. i just feel that csb is so deep and is on a tier above everyone else.

This is actually what they did against san sebastian, no liwag or any true bigs in the court at stretches in the game. Tallest guys were sanchez and sangco and imo to's aside, that lineup played solid. Baste's heart just kept them in the game.
