Sajonia did not double team in the first Cunanan triple. He just sagged off from Cunanan preparing in case of a double team. I think that was Daileg. If you saw the replay he was not going anywhere as Puno cut off his driving lane. Sajonia just sagged off by a good two feet which was enough space for a passing lane and a shot.

The second Cunanan triple that was supposed to be Payosing’s man but he crashed for a defensive board and eventually lost Cunanan in that mad scramble for the loose ball.

Sagged off, tried to double either way, the right play there was to play man-to-man defense. We were up by 2 points until Cunanan made back-to-back 3s. I don't have a problem with Cunanan hitting the second triple, but that sajonia game losing turnover, man oh man. If Yuri wants sajonia in the court in crunch time, he's gotta be the catch and shoot guy not the play maker at least in my opinion.

Definetely. Pretty dangerous thing he did there. Good thing manacho was able to land better. But we can clearly see that igliane purposely did what he did. As ive said been like that since the first round. He threw in a couple of gut shots against liwag and against san beda he was the one that punched puno while both of em were on the floor. Dude's just a goon plain straight.

Looks like cuenco is more serviceable in the end game than escamis. Solo 2nd for mapua. Next game if estrada wont play, they’ll be lucky

Things getting intereting now at the standimgs. Mapua is solo 2nd, beda drops to solo 3rd, while letran and Lpu tied at 4th. Eac falls with perpetual, just a game behind 4th spot. Still lots of basketball left in the 2nd rd and we'll still probably see a lot more changes in the rankings. Hope benilde capitalizes and takes care of business against arellano tom to stay a game ahead of mapua.

Too much physicality being allowed, leading to bordeline, sometimes dirty plays na talaga. Thats been the ncaa brand ever since, and i dont see it changing anytime soon. Atleast the quality of games has leveled up. Just today both games were spectacular to watch, dirty hits aside.

Agree with this. That particular foul is really meant to injure an opponent and is plain thuggery.

SBU’s Gonzales has a broken nose bridge. That will definitely sideline him. With a couple important games in the next 4 days against Perps and Mapua, his physical play at the guard spot will be missed. So who will Yuri elevate from the reserves?

I saw Tagala earlier on the bench apparently elevated from the reserves.
