  • CSB is the league leader in terms of turning the ball over according to Pong Ducanes. And if you see some of them it’s mostly unforced.

That Allen Liwag passing turnover was horrible. He threw the ball six feet over Cometa and no Arellano defender was near.

      • Arellano is the gift that keeps on giving this season. Hope that they keep improving and possibly contend for a F4 spot.

        • Hats off to arellano. Good win for them. Bad loss for us. This is a very winnable game yet just like the baste game they played thrash. Cant believe they have back to back games with a combine 55 turnovers. Back to back games with 30+ pts of to's each. Sure they missed ynot in this game but come on now. Its getting really ridiculous. As kinglion already said a lot of those to's are unforced ones pa. If they keep playing like this, better kiss their championship, even final 4 hopes good bye.

Its time to hit that panic button. Better fix what needs fixing especially as we enter the stretch run. Teams are now starting to scout benilde a lot better. The same plays will no longer work.

Imo they didnt play to their strength in this arellano game. They let the chiefs dictate the pace of the game, instead playing fast. That led to a lot of to's as it gave arellano the chance to set up their defense. I dunno but its kinda similar to whats happening to beda if they take to much time with the ball, except that for benilde its to's.

            • As if the last game wasn't enough for a wake up call, CSB falters again. This isnt a championship team.

Parity in the ncaa is much better as well.

Nope, not yet anyways. Still have half the season to work things out. None of the teams look like championship contenders this early anyways. All teams have flaws they need to work on.

Yeah. CSB has to deal with that kind of defense now. You need to find ways to counter it. Your meltdowns seem to come from turnovers, tight defense, and defenders with active hands.

Can't always rely on execution. When it's stifled, need to find a way to get it together.

Opposing teams have done a great job of scouting them. Another thing i noticed, seems like not everyone is as active on the floor in their recent games compared to early the ones, lots of standing around and just watching. Thats why even the execution is sloppy. Imo they just need to go back to the basics, start from there and tweak whatever needs tweaking.

Doesn't help that Charles Tiu always calls them out in socmed

That's been his style ever since and i get it. When you win ugly and lose this bad its warranted. Now its up to the players how they will respond to it.

I don't think you guys should hit the panic button yet, last time i checked CSB is still no.1. Yes, other teams are scouting you guys, but i believe in this AU game Ynot was sorely missed, he is an integral part of your team..but yes give credit where it is due, arellano defended well, and looks more active given that they played 2 days ago vs MU

The players needed that. Personally i dont mind it, with charles tiu naman he says it as it is. He doesnt sugarcoat anything. This bad games are mostly on them anyways.

                              • Yeah I could care less about the UAAP, I feel like most are just money players. In the NCAA, I often find myself watching even the games that do not involve my schools because I enjoy the hunger of the players. I mean sure, there’s still money in play in the NCAA, but most players really just want the opportunity to get reps and flourish.
