Ive been told that nygel was tasked to facilitate so thats why all we can see is his passing skills. Lol how can he shoot if we have to many shot creator like sajonia, rc, yuks, payosing and the emerging puno. But I think nygel is too passive he will do his task but nothing over that. Or too much pressure since he is a sophomore guard but already a starter in San Beda. I dont recall who did for the past decade. True rookie only.

His shooting this season is horrible. Out of the 18 shots he took in past games, he only made 3. That must be the reason why he has been reduced to a facilitator and it's not like he was not given minutes in those games. Also, 1-2 assists per game only? Now tell me he is not underperforming

Yeah, I get your point. I think you are referring to the old heads, and I'm not friends with them. I just enjoy watching the games, win or lose. At the end of the day its just a basketball game. One team will win and the other will lose. And yes, I agree with you, the Knights is overachieving, credits to the coaching staff for making this possible-- better body language, decision making and confidence. Last year, the knights had so many games they could have won, but they collapse. This year is a different story for them.

Btw, how could you tell that San Beda already had it in the bag? can you see the future? The game was close, so until the final buzzer sounds, unless its a blowout game, no one can tell the outcome. What happened to Puno is part of the game. 'Til now all i said is what i observed. I'm no fortune teller. I even said that those wins could be partly luck, so somehow I agree with you lol. You are so mad that you can't make an argument without cursing lol. And I dont need to go back to you to brag if you guess wrong. I'll just enjoy the game and somehow share what i can think of.

Wth regards to that Ancheta shot, isn't it called luck when he got away with that travel? "Swerte" niya di siya nakita. Yes, it's baste's d that gave ancheta that shot, but its also luck or breaks of the game. Now its the committee's job to reprimand that ref who missed that call.

Actually we told him that he is underperforming. Fyi even before the season start the staff already told that to him to be a facilitator. His assist average cannot define him imho there are to many assist he made but his teammates cannot convert. If you look san beda's shooting is awful and inconsistent so what do you expect he will average 5-7 assist per game? Even the whole barely crack the 12-14 assist per game. Im not defending him even our group is disappointed in him. But we should also take into consideration that he is a sophomore and a true rookie last season and on his sophomore year he was already the starting pg of the red lions. Its san beda that we are talking about its a big progrem. And like I said nygel's problem is mental. Too much pressure to himself.

San Beda doesnt need this version of Nygel. For San Beda to repeat, they need the Nygel who showed up in the NCAA Finals last season. That sob scored in double figures in 2 of the 3 games in the finals. He has it in him. He was brimming with confidence in last years finals, hitting 3's, attacking the basket, dishing out assist. He has the tools not only to become the top pg of the team but the best pg in the ncaa. He is tall for his position, he has the physique, he can play defense and he has decent basketball iq for a pg. What he really lacks this season is the confidence. He lost it for some reason. him and Eman Tagle, they are supposed to play pivotal roles this season, but are playing thrash, thats why the limited minutes given to these 2.

I agree his confidence is too low this season. As ive said too much pressure he puts into himself.

Forget Tagle, that boy is a bum. Too inconsistent to be considered a threat from outside the arc.
