Parang crowded na sa CSB ang position ni Payosing with Oli, Ondoa, Sanchez. Sa Letran they have a place for Payosing’s playing position and he gets to be teammates with fellow Phenom Deo Cuajao. They also come from the same region.

But I hope Payosing stays in Mendiola.

A small program like SBU needs to prudent in spending its resources. We dont engage in bidding wars. The success of the program does not depend on one or players but rather the battle tested system that has been implemented in 2004.

Besides things like this happen whether the player is poached or decides to go pro. The only difference with SBU and the others, We always find ways to win.

Right San Beda have always find ways to win. People forget after Season 98, SBU lost 4 key players. James Kwekuteye did not play out his final year. And the trio of Gab Cometa, Justine Sanchez and Tony Ynot transferred.

Those four key players could have made SBU a better team for Season 99. But behold coach Yuri found ways to make the team better and brought out the best in Cortez, Payosing and Jopia.

Who would’ve thought SBU would win it all in S99. They were not even projected to make the finals.

Actually letran's also loaded in his position, they still have pradella, estrada, galoy and kawamura coming in from team B. He might be better than all of those guys but not too much and not to mention they need scorers rather than high motor guys.

Tho i agree with you, with us in csb its already crowded we're not even talking about pa the returning guys in marcos and jarque, from what i heard brodett was the one pushing him to csb since they know they'll get the number they're looking for here. Don't think he'll fit in with rajko system tho since he likes his wings that can shoot it outside. Even after winning the finals mvp, he still has a clunky jumper. Defense and hustle is solid tho which charles tiu apparently is a fan of.

With jacob expected to move away from beda, who's gonna PG1 next year for them? Is it gonna be Nygel or Penny? Nygel does have the tools to be PG1 tho question is if he gets to start, is he gonna be ready mentally? Same for Penny, its rare to see a player from residency immediately being handled the starting gig, but then again we saw how escamis fit in well with mapua last year so it might be possible.

For jacob naman, i wonder how he'll fit in well if baclaan does go to dlsu too, both are alpha guards that need the ball in their hands most of the time to be properly utilized.

Peter Alfaro was the starting PG and Cortez was the SG. Nygel will most likely inherit the starting PG and Penny may come off the bench. Cortez’s starting SG spot will most likely go to Bryan Sajonia.

If ever Baclaan and Jacob end up together in DLSU, Baclaan will be the PG and Jacob will be the SG. Similarly to Nelle (PG) and Nonoy (SG). That’s the trend right now in college basketball, a two-PG set up in the back court.

Nygel will be the pg1 actually you see the glimpse of it on the latter part of the season.

Letran under delta is targeting ayo deputy and former knight mcjlur luib, won't be suprised tho if willie miller joins his staff.

If he does go to csb, i agree with you, he'll have a similar role to makoy marcos since both have almost similar skillsets, big bodied high energy that plays 2-3 which can guard almost every position but has clunky jumpers. Difference for both is marcos is a slightly better defender while payosing is a better rebounder

Yukien, off the court was never close to Jacob. Yuki is more close off court to Tagala and Llarena.

An insider is saying that there are interests on Payosing. But signs are pointing he is not leaving.
