Beda slow start like last season

They are missing Jacob's slashing game, it is very hard to get open shots from the 3 if you don't have guys who can penetrate or score from the post. Players from San Beda lack individual skills that is why they are having a hard time scoring when the system isn't working.

The jacob cortez factor really affecting beda. The lack of a go to finisher leads to those less than ideal plays. And i thought sajonia was supposed to be that guy. Seems like he's inconsistent pa.

The truth is I think some of San Beda players actually can but something is holding them back. I dont know if the system is to blame for this.

And I am pointing out again the late line up and the offseason preparation is costing San Beda’s season.

I have not seen in a long time San Beda started the first round with a .500 (3-3) record.

They are truly inconsistent just like in the preseason. Maybe it’s Yuri’s system. The new guys are having trouble meshing with the 7 holdovers.

The last time San Beda ended the first round below .500 was in 2005. That year Nash Racela was replaced by Koy Banal in the second round.

We'll be glad if you take that route and replace Yuri mid season. Hahaha!

I think SBU was up 16-4 when Yuri decided to put in Sollano and Jalbuena at the same time. They went scoreless for like 4 minutes and AU tied the game 17-all

As good as RC is he has many weaknesses. Twice he got out rebounded by Ongotan and Geronima because he did not locate his man and had the nerve to point at Jomel for not helping him out. He has to put a lot of work on the defensive end; switches, PNR and defensive rebounding.

I also think that San Beda got used to losing during the offseason. Killer instinct just isn’t there.

They don’t need coaches at this point. But maybe they need to change coaching style

Arellano has been lowkey better during the offseason thats why i believed they were this year's dark horse. Unfortunately for them they couldnt close out games in most of their losses.
Ex LPU big, Maverick Vinoya has been big for them.

I expected beda to rout them to be honest. While arellano can prolly go toe to toe with them in the early quarters, i thought when the second half comes, arellano will ran out of gas.

san beda went 8 for 18 with their fts if they made maybe half that, they should have won. Arellano also got a lot of pts off to's

Benilde might be locked as the number 1 seed. Mapua and letran fighting for the second spot while perps and beda for the 4th spot. Still, early to tell. Just my observation.
