San Beda just recruited a 6'3 Fil-am PG/SG described as very athletic by those who saw him play in the US. The Red Lions kept the recruitment of this player secret and it was revealed only when he finally showed up in person after enrolling in Mendiola.
Bedans have been calling him Julius Armon 2.0 but methinks this player could be better than Armon.
By this time Lina and Celzo will have maxed out their eligibility. And hopefully Sollano and Gentles will be NCAA ready.
Several serviceable graduating Red Cubs bigs will be availbale for S101 like Winters, Valenzuela and Mercado. Spots for 3 and 4 will definitely be a crowded space with etulle and hawkins.
I like the game of Baste today even though they lost today. They’re running plays now and they’re not giving Aguilar significant minutes anymore. Hehe they’re relying more on Pascual now. I like the plays that they run. The defense of Perps is just better.
I hope Baste figures out the system and rotation that would work best for them on their next game.
Perpetual slowly becoming a dark horse. With losses only mapua and benilde. Next 3 (Letran, LPU, Beda) games should be a good indicator if they're for real or not.
Thanks, he's comfortable at the wings and is not a pinoy big man. Probably the reason he was overlooked in the previous years.
Yes ive been watching him since season 98, he looked more as a combo forward. Kinda similar to benilde's mark sangco. He's pretty underrated and was overshadowed by Roque the lsst few years
