Big reason yes but im confident with the depth the team has. Cometa was passive today tho, while cajucom and torres were decent. Imo this maybe a blessing in disguise for the coaching staff as it will give more mibutes and opportunities to both cajucom and torres which should help them with their confidence as the seasom progresses.

As ive said, that what happens you get doubled team all throughout the game. It made him force shots. Its the drawback of the opponents defense respecting him and being a marked man. Again even with his offensive struggles, whats important is that he's still playing big defensively. Even he himself admitted that in his interviews.
Getting double teamed all game leads to wide open lay up bricks? Let's say this is true. This further just enforces my statement that he is not him. Great players are able to take what the defense gives them and make shots when it matters the most especially off a rebound and is wide open.

I dont think you get my point. He's being double teamed all game long so he's gonna have that gigil factor when he does get open. Leading to forced shots. You would probably know that if you actually play ball yourself. Again if you're the main focus of the defense, they'll do whatever it takes to make you struggle. Anyways he's no kevin quiambao. Any other player, put in the same position, you really think they'll finish better and score more? If you follow the team througout you'll notice he isnt even the focal point of the offense. Sure he gets the ball at times but he doesnt always finish the play. And thats fine because the team doesnt expect or need him to. He's there mainly to cleanup the mess of his teammates when they shoot. He doesnt need to the man for this team to win. This team is deep and even the coaching staff expects everyone to contribute. Not just liwag.

It's pretty easy to understand but I don't agree with the logic at all especially when you consider he's been subpar after his debut.

Hopefully you guys can control Ancheta's behavior inside the court. Will be interesting to see Charles Tiu's adjustment next game. Sayang, sweep na sana eh. haha

They're trying naman, they have loads of experienced hands guiding him, like ty tang, jc cullar and etc. And im sure he'll learn from it. If im being honest while i dont agree with the action, it does show that he and the team aint taking sht from anyone anymore. If their opponents gonna get rough, they're gonna give it right back. This is one of the things that lacked the blazers team of the past, often leading to them getting bullied.

Against lpu, i expect them to focus on barba, having bigger guys like sangco, eusebio or sanchez shadow him. Ynot or torres will prolly have guadania naman. Anyways having a sweep is great and all but a twice to beat is fine. Better to lose now than to choke in playoffs or finals haha.

The logic is very easy. He's not a kq kind of player that needs to dominates offensively in every game. So he's not gonna make every shot. And as ive said he doesnt need to. The team needs him more defensively and as long as he continues to anchor thay defense, they'll all be fine.

                • CSB and DLSU losing on the same day. I think the last time this happened was in 2022 (?). If I’m not mistaken Letran and UP went on to win their respective leagues.

Apparently Javillonar was a victim of punching incident two years ago from SSC-R’s Shanoda, who got a one-game suspension.

It was pure reflex action on the part of Ancheta. It happened so fast that you could tell he didn't think, and immediately stopped once he realized what he did. What it tells though is, in fight or flight moments, his instinct is to fight. Which can be a good thing, he just has to learn to use that instinct properly.

His action ended up having CSB miss a player who could've played well in the crucial moments.
