No need for residency like what gospursgo disclosed but of course he needs to graduate after 4 years for him to be a masteral course athlete like Jed Mendoza (JRU - UE) and Lourdes Clemente (Womens Volleyball Perps - DLSU)

I dont think it applies to NCAA though, if you count Harvey Pagsanjan he is a one and done but it is due to his age.

I think its guadania. Tho not sure if its also a spinal injury. Both he and bravo sat out most of the their last few preseason games before the season started. In fact barba carried the team to a finals appearance against benilde in pinoyliga's big dance. But barba will need help if lpu wants to return in the final 4 from guy lika montano and penafiel.

It's barba. I heard from the commentators.

Hmm wonder when he got hurt. Looked pefectly healthy weeks before the season started. It was guadania that they're trying to preserve back then. So of lpu's 3 best players, one is out for the season and 2 are playing hurt. Things not looking good for them.

Will barba still play? After seeing what happened to bravo.. maybe good to rest him. Health first. Recover completely.

Ok, I stand corrected. Hahaha. After watching the replay again, it was BRAVO who was playing through spinal injury.

Personally, the upside of a player's development is what makes me for it, but it does have other pros and cons as well.
Playing up definitely fast tracks a player's development. A school athlete who gets to play pro/semi pro definitely learns a lot. It's like how Filfors get a leg-up playing against bigger, faster, stronger growing up. Playing in the PBL also used to be a right of passage for our college players.

For me, if they meet their school/grade requirements, I'm all for it. That's a big IF though (along with if it will really be implemented).

                        • Is Zedjay Etulle still with SBU? I don’t see him in the new team photo of Team Behold. I would’ve taken him over Sollano in the reserves.

However there’s a new face in Team Behold, 6’5 Juju Dayrit from UST.

                            • Yuri taking that free throw after the game haha game wouldnt have been that close if they made all those fts, kudos to baste for mot giving up, but being in the penalty and losing Are early was just too much.

                              • Nice game!

That end game full court press of Baste is really something. But they really need Are to be there with them to have successful comebacks. But good thing they still kept themselves to the thick of things doing that full court press even if Are graduated. But for higher success rate, Are should be there to direct and stabilize their plays. I expect for Are to really lessen the fouls he’s taking from now on. He knows he needs to be there with them to finish the game.

Really good thing about Baste this season is their turnovers, always almost just 10 TOs every game. They’re really handling the ball really well this season.

And their points in the paint, considering their height it’s just unbelievable!

Anyway, adjustments will be done! Bawi sa second round!
