What a game!
Baste down 10 under 1:15 mins remaining and still ended up winning.
It started with that well drawn up play by coach Arvin to Polo and then those full court presses! Unbelievable!
What happened to Bravo was unfortunate. That’s a spine injury!
Congrats to Baste! The real test to Baste is their next game against San Beda.

What’s interesting about Are is he’s getting taller every season. During his rookie season, he’s listed at 5’6. Last season, he’s at 5’8 and this season he’s now 5’10. I hope he grows to 6’0 so he could give more match up problems to opposing PGs. His upper body has improved a lot as well this season.

I guess the coaching staff and management did good job of 'hiding' the team from being scouted coz its seems like both teams they faced were shell shocked at how good this team is lol.
Also, I believe LPU has done a great job of defending Are but what’s good about Are is every time he’s attracting the defense, he’s involving his teammates. Perfect combo guard! A real PG/Shooting guard. Haha I still can’t believe it! I thought the game was lost. Bought Are and Escubido are visibly exhausted.
And the crowd of Baste is always present for this season. Hope Baste sustains their momentum.

I guess he’s mostly experimenting during the preseason. And also Are just joined them on their last 3 games in Filoil. He spent most of his offseason in MPBL. That’s why no doubt, Are is the X factor in this current Golden Stag team.

8 rebounds and 13 assists.
Grabe palaban talaga tong batang to! Would have love to watch the game against San Beda this Saturday but I have commitment that day already. I’m curious to see how Baste will match up against them knowing that they’re really tall and deep. It would be interesting to see as well if they would match the phase of Are and Escubido.
