Royo is the better and quicker player to counter Ancheta.

I think Royo did not do a good job defending Ancheta. but that is only my opinion. Hehe. I think putting at bigger defender would make a difference.

You are right, this is the second game that Tagle had a bad game. He is getting open looks but no result. I'm excited to see Liwag Vs. Lina in the 2nd round if possible.

They didnt return tagle once he got subbed out i think. Kinda surprised that benilde had more 3's and attempts than beda.

Even the commentators were saying that San Beda had fouls to give. They didnt. And Ancheta hit a clutch 3. Also, SAjonia needs to create for his teammates. As much as trigger happy JAcob Cortez was last year, at least he would create shots for his teammates. SAjonia was a blackhole out there. Same with RC Calimag.

Ancheta showed why he deserved to be pg1. He might be small, but he always had that bulldog mentality, you can see in the game how hounded the much bigger nygel gonzales on defense. Looking forward to rd 2 tho especially if lina plays as things might be different then. Anyways lots of basketball to be played. Nice to have the two early wins against 2 contenders.

Puno needs to work on his dribbling and ball security. Even liwag can steal the ball from him. Payosing needs to stay in his lane like literally, he aint a shooter haha.
