Baste now has at least 7 new recruits waiting in the wings. And there are other new guys who were there during the pep rally. And if SJ Moore eventually joins them, there would be at least 8 new players to be lined up. I also expect them to reserve a spot for two 6’7 centers. So that’s a possible 10 new players for season 101. They still have 1 year to look for that two 6’7 centers.

Since Felebrico and Reggs are exhausting their eligibility this season, I expect for Are, Escubido, Velasco, Ricio, and De Leon to be the holdovers for season 101. The others would be relegated back to team B or reserve spots coz they were just there coz Masiglat and company weren’t allowed to play this season.

So more than half of the team for season 101 are expected to come from the new recruits. It’s going to be a totally different Golden Stags come season 101.

What really happened to masiglat amd company? Was it really because they played for baste while not being hs graduates? Kinda fishy since other teams had similar cases as well.

Yes. All the Red Robin recruits were present during the pep rally yesterday. Not familiar with the cases of the other players from other schools but yeah it’s unfair that Baste got singled out for that supposed new rule. But basing from the social media of Masiglat and the others, I think they have already accepted their fate that they can’t play this season. And it seems Baste is doing the same. There’s no sign of them appealing their cases.

Probably Baste thought their chances of winning is not that high naman even if Masiglat and company play this year. So I think they just decided to move on and focus on their preparations for season 101. But if that happens again to them next season, I think they won’t let it slide anymore.

Anyway, Baste should appoint a lawyer as their ManCom rep to avoid those kind of situations in the future.

Thats disappointing. Anyways atleast this year there's no pressure, the way i look at it, its an audition year for those currently in the lineup. Same with Perps, who only has Sevilla graduating i believe

Did bravo play? I know guadana is also recovering in his own injury too. Seems like all key guys for lpu is hurt somehow.
