Masiglat, Ronquillo, Valina played in Fil-oil pre-season while they haven’t finished yet ung SHS/Juniors, that is why they are nor eligible.”

not sure if this is a legit reason.

Why are they basing it only on the FilOil tournament? There are other preseason tournaments like PinoyLiga.

I think that Facebook page writer does not know the exact rule.

If thats true then they're singling out san sebastian. Other teams had freshmen that played well before graduating their high schools too like arellano with dre miller and perpetual with mark gojo cruz

Jacob Lao allowed him to return to Letran to finish his playing year. He'll sign with them once he finishes up with his school

It’s allowed in the NCAA. They allow players to join the PBA Draft (with notification from NCAA Mancom) and play in the concurrent NCAA season.

A stark contrast with the UAAP where if you join the PBA Draft you cannot play anymore in the concurrent UAAP season.

Oh well, I guess season 100 is not for us. It’s partly the technical committee of Baste’s fault for not checking the new rule.

That official roster of Baste is definitely the weakest in the NCAA season 100. Coach Arvin’s coaching will be tested of how far he can bring a weak team. I hope he takes it as a challenge. But definitely, this season is going to be a losing season for Baste. Practice season for season 101!

Yes. The new rule daw is new recruits can’t play in preseason if they haven’t graduated yet in high school.

I think that’s the reason why at the latter stage of Filoil, Masiglat and company was no longer playing. Maybe Baste thought they could still save their eligibility for this season but it was too late.

Its still confusing, they have to clear things up with this new rule. Because Carillo played for csb before his graduation with adamson last june 20, ditto for Gojo Cruz who's graduation was June 19, Dre miller who's graduation with feu was on june 28 and as gosprurs has mentioned, their batchmate mangubat also played for mapua in the same tourney yet only the baste recruits got handed the ban hammer. Another is the case omar gordon, dude also played in the filoil tho with feu even if hasnt technically graduated from them. So what are they gonna do if the player played albeit with a different team.

It is GTV who is streaming the games diba? i think GTV really has an allotted timeslot for NCAA since they started covering.
