  • With the looks of it mensah is done for college basketball. 1 year recovery and he is turning 25 next year. Also, mapua have plenty of wings for next season. He is undersize 3 or 2. Hopefully, he recovers well and gets back to basketball even not playing in collegiate level. He looks good though. Sayang

He looks kinda top heavy(too bulky) for his size, even while having good athleticism. I dunno maybe its a reason why his knee suddenly gave up like that. Thats one of the first things i noticed when i saw him play. Another maybe he just played too many games, seems like mapua is not the only team he's playing for. I seem to see him a lot in other 'dayo' games.

Yes, he is a player of mavs and many side gig. Maybe he should’ve focus on mapua more. Just focus on recuperating and lets see.

Csb tried to recruit him too when he left adamson pero when attending classes will clearly become an issue, coaching staff backed off. Dude is a headache for any collegiate team waiting to happen.
AP has until next week to enroll and register, in able for him to be eligible for S101 for Cardinals.

And to think csb is very lenient with its acads since it caters to multiple intelligences/ non acad skills (i.e. arts)

well i could name a number of ncaa schools that could tolerate his behavior though

            should just turn pro imho,

For benildeans student athletes, they need to reach a certain grade, ive had classmates who were part of the mbt and most of the time profs there are pretty undersranding naman, thats why if those guys are forced to miss classes or school works, often times profs will give them a chance for extra credit or scheduling special exams for them. While the ncaa only requires 60% to be eligible, csb naman requires a certain grade for the athlete scholars to reach in order for them to keep their scholarship. If the athlete does lose their scholarship, they can still play for the varsity team, but they'll be considered a walk on(which is expensive, atleast 87k for the usual HRM course, the benildean student atheletes usually take).

So they just really need to put in some of the work, if they're not willing to, often times they just leave the school altogether.
This is what happened to Sonny Estil and Emman Galman and why they didnt stick with the blazers. Manlapaz naman i heard from the start felt like had no intention of doing anything school related. Thats why csb and even beda backed off from getting him in the first place.

Is he even playing basketball ready? Parang havent seen him play anywhere lately. Pero with or without him, mapua's season 101 team is still solid.

Just wanted to move to a bigger school that can give him more exposure.

This is the same concern i have for guys like KQ. Too many games on your body will take its toll someday. Hope he recovers well, im a fan of his game..

                        • Aldin Ayo's system works well in collegiate basketball. If Coach Charles/ Rajko decides to focus on Converge, I think he's a good candidate for the CSB hc position

Actually some of the sets benilde runs came from Ayo, you can even see parts of his mayhem defense whenever csb pressures the other team. As part of the sga umbrella he attendes the blazers training maybe twice a month, was even in attendance in some of their games before. He moved over lang to help letran once allen ricardo took over for them.

That’s good to know bro thanks for the info. Yeah, I think he’s a good candidate for the head coach position if CCT decides to focus on Converge, besides he likes developing young guys. Ayo coming back to Letran makes no sense as of the moment, based on the performance of the Knights with Coach Allen, he may be there for awhile.
