tbh, talent wise both the uaap and ncaa are just the same as the talent pool is also the same, what separates the uaap now are the fsas .... and the glamor and glitz that taeneo and lasalle bring.
let's not kid ourselves, put ateneo and lasalle back in the ncaa and roles will be reversed.

If it’s true, would they replace Jack Santiago since he’s the one responsible for most of their recruits right now.
One is jack stantiago, dude has a MAJOR backer within the school managment, that's why the school was patient enought to keep him even with the poor performance and controversies that surrounded him like hurting his players or putting a hit on opponents. It will probably take a major Major blunder for him to get the axe.
2nd lao's are having second thoughts of taking over a team that plays in a mega competitive league with mega competitive backers. It makes no sense for them to dole out funds for team that might not even make it to the final 4. People seem to forget that besides dlsu, admu and up who has solid backing, nu with the sy's and adamson with akari and heck even ust now with the smc are a couple of teams that can be competitive as well. When it comes to ue's jrs and wvt, both programs don't face that much competition when it comes to other team's sponsorhip in their respective leagues so they have a chance to be much more competitive, so they had no problem taking over those programs. Remember, the Lao's want to win, that's why they started with lsgh then with csb since they have a better chance of winning something in the ncaa than with uaap.
Not to mention, they want to see first if charles tiu can indeed win. He fumbled season 99 big and if he doesnt win by season 100, whatever stock he built will be down the drain. Its worth nothing that both charles tiu and aldin ayo's contract both end in 2 years, same with ue jrs karl santos and letran's allen ricardo.
And yess if jack santiago leaves expect an exodus of guys leaving too specially the filfors and remogat. Good thing momowei is a phenom boy so expect him to stay.
Still things can change, goals can be aligned somewhere else but for now they are committed to all the teams in their umbrella: Csb srs and wvt, Letran Squires(tho i heard, with delta coming in, they'll pass on the managment of the team to delta and his group, might go back to lsgh), ue jrs and wvt, farm fresh foxies, farm fresh u18 in psl.

For the Veteran presence, they'll still have glue guys marcos and sangco, while returning players like cajucom and mara will enter their 3rd years with the team, fresh off back to back final 4 apprances. Atleast guys like liwag, ynot, sanchez and cometa already have ncaa experience so on paper they should be fine. Biggest issue should be how returning season 99 players will jell with up and coming team b players tho from what i saw in their training, they've already started playing together as soon as after the 3rd place game. It also helps some of these guys already played together last offseason in pinoyliga. Only the filfor guys came a little bit late. I also heard nayve might join jc cullar as an assistant next season. Other grads like corteza, carlos and gozum still drop by from time to time too.

wonder what happened to his career. Seems like he gained weight during Season 97 and was supposed to be the next in line after JV Mocon and Calvin Oftana. Heck, he evens ranks Home in the NBTC Nat’l Rankings.
