Jopia, Payosing, Tagle, Cuntapay and Visser improvements and develiopment have now become beda's recruitment tool and has attracting prospects
I can confirm this. A number of NCAA juniors want to transfer to Mendiola but they are aware that the team is really stacked with talents for S100. Some has expressed willingness to wait for 1 year and use that to further develop their skills. What they have not taken into account is that a number of Red Cubs will also graduate in S101.

The Perps Junior Altas head coach is a former trainer, strength and conditioning coach of the Red Lions. He was an assistant with the Altas (Seniors) this past Season 99. He was responsible for bringing some Cebu cagers to Manila; Jomari Sollano (Letran) and JB Bahio (SBU). I don’t know if he was relieved with the recent hiring of Olsen Racela.

PLUS potential LOCAL and INTERNATIONAL recruits from the US and Canada

This San Beda Red Lions S100 Team has enormous firepower.
SBU got a but shorter this coming season 100 with the departure of Jopia. They will be having problems vs CSB who still has Lepalam in their roster.

But wow on the 1 and 2 position..that is stacked as hell. Hehehehe

everyone almost crucified jude and yuri in the offseason when they were “late” in inviting fil-am rob diaz in the us training camp. sbu has many guards that fits the mold of diaz like sajonia, nygel and calimag bros.

what sbu needs to recruit are big men because lina and celzo are good for only 2-3 years.

Don't think lepalam's coming back next year, he got displaced in the lineup this year with charles tiu opting for the more atheletic albeit shorter turco, mara and arciaga in the rotation, they will be joined pa by liwag and edson serrano might make his return to team a as well. Lina and celzo may be short but i think they'll thrive in the ncaa with their physicality

To be fair Team Behold before was composed of players (majority) who have no chance making it to team a.

I also remember that SBU lost badly in that US trip to a mishmash Filam team that had young guys like Bayla.

But just like DLSU, they peaked at the right moment.

                  • So San Beda is just a testing ground for players and also the NCAA as a league if the Jacob Cortez news is indeed true.

Bedans should appreciate Borgie Hermida, Baser Amer, Ogie Menor, Dave Marcelo, Garvo Lanete, Javee Mocon, James Kwekuteye and Calvin Oftana. They opted to finish their collegiate careers in the Lion’s Den. They started and finished it with SBU.

You forgot Arjun Cordero, he stayed despite the offers from Ateneo. He could have transferred in his 2nd year but chose to stay and stick it out with the Lions.

                      • Palakas ng palakas ang ugong ng paglipat ni Jacob sa TAft. HInihintay na lang siguro ang pagbalik niya from the STates to make it all official. For me, it will be a bad move for the kid para sa career niya. Even if La Salle goes back to back, hindi naman sya kasali sa team since he will serve his 1 year residency. And once he is eligible in 2025, there is a great possibility na wala na si KQ, Mike Phillips and who knows, baka wala na rin si Coach Topex sa La Salle. While San Beda with or without JAcob, tehy will remain a top tier team due to its new recruits. A possible back to back and even a 3peat is not far fetched.

                          • Jacob asked non coaching team members a favor to recieve and check the new gadgets and things delivered to his mendiola pad while hr was away.
no sense in upgrading his pad if he is leaving.

                              • Is it true that the Lao’s will leave Benilde and will transfer their group to UE? Since they are the one who’s managing their Juniors Program.

If it’s true, would they replace Jack Santiago since he’s the one responsible for most of their recruits right now.
