  • Cortez’s playmaking skills will be easily replaced by Bryan Sajonia, who akready averaged double figures for FEU and also the same age but taller than Cortez. Then you have the streaky shooter RC Calimag. These two can give you around 10-15 points per game. Andrada, Payosing and Puno will be much better next year. So SBU has got it covered in case Jake leaves.

Nygel will most likely inherit the starting point guard spot from Alfaro.

    • From the looks of it how will jacob coexist with rc and sajonia.. sajonia transferred because he share the ball with rj and lj.. and we know rc calimag was in up. And he needs touches also to be effective

To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
      1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

LOL Mans doesn’t even bring in the money for DLSU. It’s Razon who calls the shots, followed by Villavicencio.

          • jacob didn't even have a good finals, he's lucky that the role players stepped up and that mapua's big 3 had a bad finals themselves particularly bonifacio and hernandez

Well that's how championship are usually won. People playing below their usual standards and other players stepping up.

but it also shows that beda's program can do it without a cortez, though as i mentioned earlier what the lions will miss will be glitz and glamor since he's the only player in the lineup that attracts public interest and fans

I think Nygel will be the PG1 this coming season. But there will be games when AJ Royo or Penny Estacio will start for the team just to have different looks and to find the right combinations depending on who the opponent is. We saw CYE do that in Game 2 and it caught Mapua off guard.

                            • I just happen to hear bits of details. I was seated opposite of the beda backer when he got the call. I just heard some. Trainers/coaches and schools. I stopped listening when food arrived.

Perps jrs has amiel acido, part of last year's mythical 5 and all defensive team. Was supposed to migrate in the states kaya lang he's back in the country as far as i know. Csb is trying to recruit him too. But expect myk saguiguit and company to try and keep him in case nitura or roque leaves.
