Also, Drex and Hubilla received something that Letran failed to provide.
Maybe playing time and key role assurances lol. Letran has loads of incoming tranfers that could be favorites of the incoming sponsor. Those delta boys and phenom players are the only ones safe from being cut lol.

Rosillo is the one that got away. However, he might regret it if he couldn’t get his the playing time (Manalili is the main guard for sure) and mapua gets the championship this time. Thanks for the updates!

For me, Mangubat is way better than him. He has good size for the position and seems to make the right plays. Rosillo's clutch shots seems to be the only thing going for him but ya'll have gonzales for that next season. Not to mention rosillo's a hot head, sooner or later his attitude's gonna cost letran some games lol.

Bonn Daja was present in Benilde's practice earlier today. He's the elder brother of Bonn ervin currently playing with gilas u17 and dlsz in uaap jrs. He'll have 3-4 years eligibility left. 6'3-6'4 sg/sf. Should give benilde a solid wing rotation in future seasons with zenric jarque 6'4, matt oli 6'2 and gene carillo 6'2.

Rosillo has the exprience while mangubat is just a rookie. That’s the advantage rosilio has but when it comes to shooting and skills mangubat is promising.

Btw, bancale improved alot. Dont sleep on bancale.
            He deserves the starting spot.
From the moment preparations start, he is the starter for most of the games.

              • Letran is going to have excellent wings who are Gilas materials in Art Roque and Sonny Estil for 2025.

Watch out also for Mapua’s wing duo of Recto and Hubilla this 2024 season. They have not shown their true potential this past preseason.

                • Philippines (Mapua) wins over Malaysia:
Hubilla, Mangubat and Agemenyi did not play (only 10 players can be fielded per game).

                  • Mapua surpasses a slow start.

Team PH routs Thailand to clinch second win in ASEAN University Games

Team Philippines, bannered by the Mapua Cardinals, nabbed their second straight win after edging out Thailand at the 21st ASEAN University Games in Indonesia.

The Cardinals were faced with a nip-and-tuck match in the beginning, only establishing the lead in the latter parts of the game, ultimately defeating Thailand with a dominant 18-point lead, 97-79.

Our Filipino hoopers are set to face Singapore tomorrow, July 2, for its third game in the elimination round.

Looks like he'll still have 5 playing years left, he and carillo should be csb's wings of the future.

                          • Aaron Buensalida’s father already confirmed his son’s transfer to Letran almost a week ago. Good pick up for Letran.

Ncaa bound but not arellano. Csb was one of the schools that recruited him out of highschool and could join former teammate jericho jalalon if he pushes through with benilde. As far as i know csb is still interested in him. Though i heard Letran, perps and one other ncaa school is also pushing for him
