His draft stock is low. I will be surprised if he gets drafted. He needs 1 good year at mapua to just be considered in the draft. Look at bonifacio, even with an impressive collegiate career, he couldnt sign in the pros.

He doesnt have to apply in the pba draft now. Theres always the mpbl and other leagues where he's already playing. Just focus there, he'll further damage his stock with another year of inactivity. Lets not forget, if he really commits to mapua, he cant play in those leagues anymore as an sgl while serving residency so he really has to attend classes and pass his subjects. He's old anyways, gonna be 24 by the time he's eligible for the cardinals next year. If he stays, he'l have to battle for minutes with the guys i already mentioned, in the pros, with the right coaching staff, he'll have the chance to be the featured player.

It will be hard for Warren to play in the PBA. He is an undersize big. While he has the same height as CAde Flores, at least Cade has an insane motor and uber athletic. Mataas din ang iq ni Cade and has a decent jumper.

Got your point, but in my opinion if he wants to go to pba, ncaa is the best route. In mpbl he might not be noticed and might get bullied by the former pros. He is still under 25yrs old, just maximize his playing years. He doesn’t have a worth college career, he might get it in the ncaa. Just enjoy college basketball because he cant turn back time. He can play in the mpbl after his playing yrs are done.

Warren can play in the pba. It’s just that teams aren’t willing to try. Maybe a poorman jervy cruz, he has developed his midrange and even shoot 3 pointers now in the mpbl.

I got your point too bud, but all im saying is thats already 2 years of inactivity, 2 years outside the limelight from the eyes of everyone. We dont even know how much growth he had in those 2 years and when he comes back, he wont get the same minutes and chances he once had in adamson where he was the go to guy with lastimosa. He'll have to share the ball with gonzales, hubilla and nitura. We dont even know if escamis is gonna use his last playing year in season 101. Mapua is gonna be even deeper next season with the key guys theyll have. So best case, he'll be fifth in the pecking order. I dont think thats worth staying in college ball for. If the goal is to go pro, why not do it now and hone his craft there, competing with a d against other pros, learning the ropes now, being coached as a pro. Again with the right coach and system, he can be a featured player now. Getting used to the physical play or 'bullied' as you say, is better now while preparing to get himself drafted, than getting drafted and not yet used to the physicality. You get my point? He already has a reputation of being allergic to thebooks anyways so why delay it pa? As ive said he's old, maybe its better to give the spot to someone younger or has a higher ceiling than him

Warren gotta stop flopping tho haha for me he's a victim of the fsa ban, if mapua had one all those years, maybe he couldve gotten used playing as a tweener 4, which is much more ideal for his size.

Yes bro, hopefully he’s advisers knows what’s the best for him. Haha he is known as the one who dunked on kai sotto on their high school days. But it’s not too late to get back on track, he has plenty of options mpbl or ncaa it depends on him on how he will perform. I’m just a fan of college basketball and the competitiveness is different comparing to the pros where they just play for their living.

Yeah i dunno pero something's really up with either with him or his handlers. We dont even know why he left adamson in the first place. Tho i knew other ncaa schools that talked with him and his camp before moving to eac pero didnt really pushed thru recruiting him since they felt like he's gonna be headache lol. Sayang, coz the kid's really talented.

This is why the reason given for banning FSAs, which is supposedly to help locals, is not really well thought out.

It "may" help some guys (who are mostly mediocre to begin with) but it is at the expense of stunting the growth of guys who could have been more.

Yeah hahaha, help them get minutes and opportunities yess, but playing in the wrong position lmao.

                        • Talentwise of the locals, it’s not far though. Ncaa guys are stats padder or individual oriented unlike in uaap more of a team play.

His only highlight that stood out is dunking on Kai Sotto in high school that is probably it.

but IMO i think he should have just stayed in Adamson. Based from the last FilOil Adamson looked lost. AJ Fransman is still adjusting. Eli Ramos is not a go to guy material. The Ronzone bros are just pure hype.

Letran priests, the initiator of the FSA ban in the ncaa, have this belief that without the presence of the imports, NCAA schools will be able to produce and train top notch big men who will be an asset to the national team and even in the pros. Bunch of delulus. Since 2006 to 2019, the only elite big man which Letran produced was RAymund Almazan in 2014. And he was one of those ex ncaa players who was critical of the ban. He was even thankful to the great Ola Adeogun of San Beda since he learned alot going up against him during his tenure with Letran. It definitely prepared him in the pros.
