I agree. Don't feed the troll guys. I don't get it with some of us here, the troll is clearly flamebaiting and yet sometimes we take the bait. She doesn't add anything substantial to the discussion anyway.

I think that’s not yet definite. A couple nights earlier in a guesting on Sports Desk, Andrei Felix asked Jake if he’s staying and he did not comment.

I don’t get why dad mike has to peddle him to other schools to transfer when his son has already played 3 years and is turning 22 next year. When other players like Kai Ballungay of Ateneo (same age) has turned pro.

Of course money is the driving factor. But I think Jake is too old to transfer and the one year red shirting will only stall his growth and whatever momentum he has gained this year.

And to add a year of absence will definetly bring his stocks down. If he can win it next year for SBU and sweetened it with an MVP, then expect offers abroad. Plus there are three MVP teams that could draft you and give you a rookie max if you decide to play in the PBA.

well you can still repeat without the cool cub, beda's guard pipeline is deep

but what jacob brings to the table is some glamor and glitz to your program, he didn't play well in the finals but he still got all the press. as solid as james payosing was no one even cared for his finals mvp award and he won't be getting any invites to appear on tv anytime.

          • If DLSU wants to play their game, San Beda might as well go all in for Kieffer Alas. The connection is right there via older brothers Kenneth Alas (former Cub and Lion) and MVP Group Player Kevin Alas. But with the talent of that kid, it’s UAAP or international scene.

SBU might as well look into these prospects for possible transfers: Gagate, Pablo, Hubilla and Fikes.

I've been told that jacob will go to taft 100% already but I'm hoping that he will stay jude is making one last push to make him stay. Package deal with mikey (younger brother).

Beda competing in the Kieffer Alas bidding war is unrealistic. They offer something basketball wise but theyll be blown out of the water offer wise by DLSU and UP.

huge gamble on their part imho. lasalle will be a different team by the time jacob gets to play there and topex might not be the coach too.

huge gamble by dlsu bcoz it’s not a guarantee in 2025 for a title. but a big paycheck for the dad (mike cortez). hehe

I’ve been reading comments that Mike Cortez has unfinished business with Lasalle. What is that “unfinished” business they’re referring to?

                            How about Gagate?

i think Fikes will flourish in UE. Just with a different coach though.

If only SBU has a Delta like benefactor to compliment the MVP group, perry's, and Marzan. Oh welĺ, tough to beat UP with Jonvic and DLSU with Mans.
