Those who are in favor of lifting the ban should bring the matter to the board of the NCAA. Let the process of deliberation begin and based on the comment of The Big Cat , there is sufficient numbers of school who are for lifting the ban. Someone should take the initiative, San Beda and CSB should take the lead.

IIRC those who were in favor of the ban were Letran, SSC-R, JRU and Mapua.

Those who were against the ban were San Beda, St. Benilde and Perpetual.

Arellano, Lyceum and EAC were not allowed to vote because they were probationary members during that time.

letran and san sebastian made sense since they didnt field any FSA

meanwhile Mapua had one but had to sit out because of poaching issues in Alwell Oraeme.

JRU had its fair share of FSA but the most notable was only Abdel Poutouchi, Abdul Razak wasnt that good.

can't our (SBU or CSB) team officials/ school admins make the move to lift the ban? I think this the right time to initiate the proceedings for it. maybe even GMA can advise the NCAA mancon that FSAs will be better for the league's competition and social media presence.

I think somebody already mentioned that kevin santos will allegedly sit out the year to wait for delta. As for delfino, is he immediately eligible? Dude looks old as f haha. Anyways dont think allen ricardo is gonna need him anyways considering letran looks set at montecillo and manalili as its lead guards for season 100. They still have last year's freshman of the year jay garupil there as well Thats a solid guard rotation already.

As its stands letran's season 100 lineup is looking like this:
Manalili/Montecillo/Alarcon or Bautista/Aquiningoc(filfor)
Estrada/Cuajao/Garupil/Baliling
Galoy/Pradella/Dimaano
Monje/Ariar/Nunag
Javillonar/Go/Brillantes/Santos*

Now if they will be able to retain Diamante, he should provide a big boost at the 4 for them.

kinda feels like Letran is a sneaky contender even moreso if santos suits up. estrada may be a ncaa "rookie" but i strongly feel he's going to be a difference maker.

Same, for me they'll be the dark horse this coming season. Jimboy is definetly rookie of the year contender. And if either santos or diamante or even both suit up for them they'll be even better. It justs remains to be seen if all the others teams will be able to adjust to the way they play, which i believe contributed to their great standing in filoil. I feel like they took the ncaa teams by surprise. Execution isnt perfect yet tho so they'll still have a lot to improve upon.

You will need the FSA's to make your best bigs that are 6'6" and below play the 4. It might translate to bigger players at SF too, around the 6'3"-6'5" range. OK sana if the bigs don't exclusively play center, kaso hindi, e.

Oh definetly, im tired of seeing 6'3 centers that cant really do anything else but stay in the post, not because they want to but out of necessity.

Hmm. I guess one of the proponents of the rule is feeling the backlash of their idiotic policy. The way NCAA teams were whipped by UAAP teams is heart breaking.

Its time we put the league under an independent management team. We have to have a global approach in terms of league management and development.

Haha prolly yeah, pero again its all up to fr calvo, their mancom rep lol. Pero imagine if the ncaa teams had fsa's with them in filoil, we might have seen an ncaa team in the finals.

Personally for benilde ive seen them play with ojuola last year and it was great for the team. Liwag slid to the 4 and it worked wonders for the team in that asiabaskey tourney.

Diamante won't be able to play as he is just finishing grade 10. Same reason I think on why there are no news on where he will play for college.

Liwag should be a 4 talaga, while guys like eusebio, sanchez and sangco should be used primarily used as wings. Thats, their skillset already eh, unfortunately coach charles tiu cant fully do that without an fsa.
