Highly plausible since he hasnt attended the blazers practice in weeks and he'll join a couple of his fellow phenom boys. But imo, not a good move for him since ust is loaded pa with bigs and him being 6'4-6'5 he's undersized in his position. He should try with ue or even letran. Good luck to him tho.

If he can slide to a small ball 4, even as a 3 where guys in his size play, maybe it can work but he doesnt have the lateral speed to guard quicker wings nor a reliable outside shot.
Honestly, bigs that are under 6'9" should be trained to play the 4 as a rule.

Is Mara an academic casualty at CSB? Or had a falling out with CSB officials? He seems hell bent in leaving immediately. I thought he has settled at CSB.
Jervy Cruz is also 6’4 and went on to become a college MVP. But I do agree Mara has to add few offensive skills to become serviceable in today’s game.
Mara could always go back to UE where he came from or go to Letran, where there will be a lot of vacant slots for bigs next year.

And i agree, if he moves, i believe he'll be better off going back to UE where he can play alongside momowei or to letran where he should be a lot better than javillonar and most of their bigs.

And imo, he does need a year off so he could work on his game lalo his development has stunted in recent seasons. Look at arciaga, when he finally played in season 99, he became one of charles tiu's trusted backup bigs; even getting more run than mara. Serrano naman back in season 98 was bad and was nearly unplayable, nowadays after spending a year in team b he looks solid and reliable, and more confident in his game too. So yeah looks like he's just looking for more opportunities and knowing charles tiu, he doesnt stop anyone from leaving.

Yup he was team b bound along with jericho jalalon and nathan victoria. As of now, those assured of spots are, ancheta, cometa, torres, ynot, cajucom, sanchez, jarque, ondoa, oli, sangco, eusebio, morales, liwag and turco. Thats 14 spots, with one more available along with 3 reserves spots. Seems like macoy marcos will get that last spot if he returns, if not, its gonna go to carrillo. While galas, arciaga, serrano, baliquig and vanguardia are competing for the 3 reserve spots.

Mulingtapang, Valina, Go, Masiglat were offered Team B due to full line up.
Jack Santiago is a former Cardinal and has a strong connection with coach Randy.
