However i think they still miss the graduated seniors grit, toughness and steady presence that nayve, carlos, corteza, gozum and oczon brought to the csb team last season.

They'll be fine, whatever veteran leadership they'll be missing, itll be replaced by talent and determination. This batch has alot to prove espcecially the beda boys and even liwag who left months before a proper overhaul started with eac. They also got guys that already won in ancheta(ceu), torres and ondoa(icc), eusebio(up). Not to mention sangco is still there, marcos is slated to return once he finishes up with mpbl, and 3rd year guard cajucom is coming to his own as a leader too. Some of the guys they got like cometa and liwag also screams leadership in their own right.
Ive already seen glimpses of it in the recent tourneys they joined; this aint the same blazers team. In the past, their opponent will just 'mama' them and it will affect how they play. Now, whenever any team try to 'mama' them, they return the favor back lmao. This team aint afraid of contact anymore and returning it too. They also look alot more ingrained within charles tiu/rajko system compared to gozum batch whereas before if the play breaks down they just bail it to a miguel oczon 3 or worse. Nowadays, that happens less and couple that with better defensive intensity(that letran game in filoil, they forced the knight to 12 to's in just the 1st half, compared to them only having 4, which is in itself suprising given its csb's 1st game in weeks), this should shape up to be benilde best lineup ever.

I don’t see someone in this line up can fill the void Bonifacio and Soriano left.
Fermin looks lost, Janonete lacks height while Igliane is soft.
hope the Fermin gamble materialize, this might be his make or break year given he is a one and done prospect (from what i have read)

Jacib told us over a past dinner that he had a hard time posting up on Nayve or when rob badies him one on one.
To be honest id rather have this season's youth, talent and determination over season 99's vet experience. Last year's team came a bit entitled, often underestimating opponents, not playing as a team or failing to adhere within the system. Thats not what a veteran team should have done especially one coming off a failed finals stint. For me season 100's team is even hungrier that the last batch.

Nayve did a solid job building muscle mass, he knew he wasnt as athletic so he needed to add something to his game to be effective.

That doesn't mean Gozum wasn't kinda soft, though. Hahahahahaha. And Benilde should have toughened up.

As for diamante, hope he stays with letran na lang, they could use him over flexman javillonar. If he moves to uaap, ue or adamson i think are the best fit.
Anyways im seeing a dimaano playing for letran, is he the same dimaano from zobel?

And CSB, yeah, come on, underachieved this season. Hope their hunger comes through.

Or he's also prolly trying to gauge the the current perps now who's so far been undefeated in filoil lol

Could be a wing for Gilas. That will be a waste if he plays just the big positions in college, sacrificing quickness (especially laterally) for ability to play 4.
