I'm trying to understand your post. Are you saying UP is letting go of Hubilla and then plan on getting him back on his last 1-2 playing years? As in intentionally as a plan?

Hubilla was virtually a 20-year old with a developed-body playing against skinny teenagers during his last real season with Beda juniors. Letran led by 16 year old Gemao beat them in the finals. IMO, Dungo is the better prospect moving forward in that Beda team. For Hubilla to be a game-changer in college (UP/UAAP), he has to vastly improve his perimeter game. He really is a better fit in the NCAA. Age, which was an advantage for him in the past, will now be a disadvantage as other players catch up to his strength and size.

And for your question about a player transferring and then returning, I think Dave Ildefonso comes close. Was with Ateneo in HS, then NU, then back again for his final 2 college years. However, that was not at all a grand-plan of Ateneo or even Dave himself. I don't think you can plan ahead for something to work out like that.

There will always be a first...knowing up and bo perasol.. they accepted kobe as fallback after us stint.. potentially gemao and maybe the likes of hubilla and pablo if the price is right..

As for the returnees it isnt dave who did that first.. it was sam marata eons ago..
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
              1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

So you know the answer to your question.

Anyway, as for KQ, he really is obsessed with basketball. Ball is life talaga and willing to play even if it's some obscure tournament. I dunno, but maybe he's playing as much ligang-labas as he can because he actually enjoys it and won't be able to do so anymore once he goes pro? At some point though, he really needs to have some risk management. Playing on cement against unpredictable players isn't smart.

2 players playing similar positions are injured, but it seems UP has one more recruit also playing their position waiting to be announced. Assuming said player doesn’t do a Bahay/Reyes/Garcia. And no, hindi siya yung guy na nakaputi sa pic.

tignan natin if there will be official announcements on this. Time for recovery might reach S87 so unless a recruit comes in, UP has 15 first-tier players to work with
