  • Lopez redeems himself with that 3

    • As expected, UP overwhelmed DLSU. What did we learn today? Never go by the narrative and assess each team by their talent and coaching.

      • I guess KQ needed this loss for him to be ready in Pro.

        • No celebration for either side of taft this season. Tough to be a lasallian this year.

          • QMB's FTs were excellent. Many pros would not have made 2/2.

Who is the leader in the QMB sweepstakes in the PBA?

            • UP finally getting over that La Salle hump. I don't think UP replicates this next year but at least they're 2/4 in the last four seasons.

              • It was DLSU’s turn to misfire in the 4th. All those missed FGs and missed FTs to tie or take the lead were costly.

Lopez redeemed himself with the killer three.

Congratulations to UP. They deserved to win this one.

DLSU does not deserve to win this chip because of those missed free throws and turnovers that dates back to Game 1.

Congrats to the Maroons in this forum. It’s your time to celebrate! Enjoy!

                • Nobody took a foul just to get KQ back in for La Salle lol

                  • UP dictated the pace; low scoring, man to man tough defense and staying disciplined and on point in their game plan to smother KQ and keep in front of the La Salle shooters. Plus La salle missed so many free throws tonight. Take a bow Tony Chua this was a defensive masterpiece.

                    • Without QMB UP won't be favorites next season. DLSU will be it with Mike Phillips. QMB I think is the best "local" center in the era of FSA's. He has the size, length and mobility to match up against them and more. Mike Philips takes 2nd place. After those two I don't think any local comes close to being a defensive presence in the FSA era.

                      • So will KQ go pro or return for a chance of redemption? Ngl, i would love to see Cortez play with KQ.

                          Phoenix?
No wonder they seem to be tanking.
Getting either a QMB or a Mike Philipps will be a big boost to any PBA team.

                          • That long sequence were dlsu couldnt score in the 4th did them in. Lots of either good or open shots, just cant nail em. Dlsu, lack of a natural shot creator cost them this ring.

Anyways, any chance kq stays? Guts says he's going pro 100%, but gotta admit kq with baclaan, cortez and etc would be hella dangerous.

It's about time he turns pro.
