  • What a great call by Jeff Napa to attack KQ and Mike on the perimeter.

This is the easiest way to beat DLSU. Same thing happened vs UE.

      • Palacielo will have a good PBA career. Too small for any level higher but he is nice.

UE shot the lights out from 3 in that game, which is why they won. I mean Lingo-Lingo shot 6 for 10 threes in that game, and Abate shot 3 for 3.

In this game, to be honest, I don't think the Archers cared enough to win? Kudos to NU but those line-up experimentation from the coaching staff of DLSU was horrible.

They cared enough to play most the guys but the 3 point shooting was awful at 1/24. Yeah I dont think the archers were focused enough to win this game since it was non bearing and all that but they can lose to any team if they shoot from 3 like this again.

They did play most of the guys and gave Agunanne confidence which I did like.

But starting the fourth quarter with a line-up of Raven, Macalalag, Dungo, Marasigan and Konov tells you what the coaching staff thought about this game. When the reporter said the Archers were given the option not to practice after the UP game and were told to treat this game as a scrimmage, I kinda knew what to expect.

              • Jake Figueroa is a gamer. He closed the game out. Overseas pro in the making.

                • Where was this fight all season for NU? I know they're down an FSA but they proved they can beat the top teams without them. It must be a frustrating time for NU fans.

                  • Lmao that UST venue seems more like the home court for NU. This is where they also thrashed UP by 20.

A lot of their losses were close game losses. They're like the opposite of UE in the first round, who had so many close wins.

                      • That kbl insider tweeted again that both kq and cagulangan will be soon playing in korea. What are the odds that this is truly kq last year with dlsu? Kinda feel like he'll want to play with both jacob and baclaan, and gilas teammate amos as well

If I had to guess, the odds are 100%

(Although I also guessed this after they won last year and he came back haha)

Circumstances have changed. He is already a father. Plus he has outgrown the UAAP, truly. There's no more challenge left for him.

Plus, in terms of resources from the boosters, it would be better spent recruiting to prepare for Mike P's departure after Season 88. I believe they have the pieces already to compensate for KQ's loss, but not yet for Mike's loss.

100% sure he's leaving. He's been teasing about in IG since late last year. Communicating with Sono players.

Good for JD! He's really special. He gave his old buddy, Josh, fits on both sides of the floor last game.

I am also 100% sure he is leaving, but his IG and Twitter posts are not a good indication. He did the same thing last year after DLSU won the championship.
