Teams will soon realize spending to keep players like KQ, Tamayo might actually be cheaper than trying to replace them and ending up with duds

NU and Adamson are not really good examples for building up their Juniors teams, as most of their Juniors stars move to other colleges anyway. FEU is the only one in recent times whose HS stars stay for their college teams.
Ill give you adamson on that but what im talking about is building up their hs program which they did. Just did a poor job of retaining their guys. And as for the Nu bullpups leaving, it has more to do with the goldwin exodus but once Napa stabilized the situation, most of their guys opted to stay. If you look at their lineup now, 6 came from the bullpups, that number rises even higher if you check their team b.

How many chips did La Salle win since 2000? Six. Yeah, La Salle's program is really superior to Ateneo's. lol

Luis Pablo is soft. I just saw a 5'8 Kean Baclaan back him down in the post and get to the rim. I thought Hubilla was just older that's why he was able to abuse the LSGH tower back then but Pablo, despite his size and weight, doesn't use his body well. Now that he lost weight, it'll be that much harder for him to hold his own in the post.

No, Amos committed to DLSU a long time ago before the FIBA experience, which is when the news broke. There's photo evidence that he spoke with Mayor Zamora to talk about DLSU before FIBA too.
There was an Ateneo insider who claimed that Mason left Ateneo because of the promised higher allowance and the chance to play the wing position, among other things, which never materialized.
Mason himself said he would have gone straight to DLSU because of his mom's ties with the school for college, but Tab's persistence won him over. He initially only committed to Ateneo High School, not college. [QUOTE]
Mason Amos is only eligible to play for 2 years at La Salle under the new UAAP eligibility rules for transferees right?

Homer Sayson tweeted that a coaching change in one of the storied men's basketball program is coming. That end of an era hint suggests its someone who's been with the team for a long time. Tab is the current longest tenured coach in the league. Also makes sense considering the record ateneo is in now and the players they have in the team now.

just for discussion sake,
your mentioning one and done right?
is Sage a 3rd Gen hafu thru his paternal Ilocano grandfather?
how about to those 2nd Gen hafu who's mother are all Philippine born just like Maria Pizarro
worth mentioning those 2 current US Div. 1 hafus that may re-consider for next season's UAAP surely they like Adobo as well
both lads are in their early 20's but not yet reaching the 23 yr. old range
and as we all know they are also eager to represent PH Gilas basketball a long time ago
but unfortunately several head scratching moments and events happened esp. during covid days
6’7 SF Freshman Thomas Batties II of Harvard Crimson a 3-star prospect from Gonzaga HS in Washington, DC of class 2023. Probably 18 going 19 these 2024 but still growing, thanks to his African genes. I’ve seen a few games of the Crimson these season and I’m impressed with his length and wingspan(almost 1 Blk and 1 Stl with 4 Rebs. per game this freshman season), reminds me of a young Kelly Oubre, Jr. but with a good shooting mechanics and a good fit as a utility guy. Harvard Crimson ended their season with a 14-13 record good for 5th place at the Ivy League Conference.
6’5 SG Sophomore Travis Roberts of Jacksonville States Gamecocks from Bishop Walsh High School in Cumberland, Maryland. Probably 19 going 20 these 2024 and a good fit as a utility guy with a decent length and a wingspan despite limited minutes,
hmmm maybe contemplating in playing in UAAP or NCAA is a good option moving forward.
