Abadam’s size will be missed, but his defense actually needs a lot of work, especially his tendency to commit boneheaded fouls. Good thing CJ Austria seems to be nearing his pre injury play.

DLSU’s schedule actually works to his advantage as the team has a very long break after the Ateneo game next week.

edit: I just read it’s a fractured ankle. Won’t be back until the final four, and that’s optimistic.

I was at the Blue Eagle Gym two years ago and I sweat alot after an hour. The gym has ventilation which I find to be useless. They should put an air condition there instead.

Per Adamson, UE, FEU and UP gyms, they need telescopic, retractable bleachers.

I agree, none of DLSU's wings have his size. Offense wise though the others are superior.

Gollena can defend bigger players. He did a terrific job against Lopez as he was the primary defended during their Finals match last year.

The other DLSU wings are of the same level as Abadam but Abadam provides something different with his size and obviously DLSU would want the option of being able to play him.

Rubico keeps getting a shot because he is a blue chip who shouldve been NCAA Jrs MVP if they made the final four. But I agree he looks out of place at the moment.

Oh I'm familiar with his accolades. I remember posting about how he's supposed to be the NCAA Jrs MVP earlier this year in this thread which is why he's been such a disappointment.

Granted, it was a small sample size but from what I saw Ethan Alian is a lot more ready to contribute. He got a bucket and facilitated well in limited action vs UST.

You can tell he works hard like his kuya Ben, who developed a three pointer. Last season he was virtually unplayable but now he's hitting threes. Good on him.
