Can anyone confirm if the awards are based on a per game or a total accumulated stats? Cos if it's the latter, I expect a new MVP to be crowned this year.

This could allow teams to utilize them depending in matchups. For example ust has 2 very different fsa's tho both skilled. Tounkara who was included in the lineup this year is their traditional big, while the other one, osang plays on the wing which can be a matchup nightmare for slower bigs.
As for the two FSA rule, I like that suggestion, especially if both FSA's are role players. Issue will be when you have two players like Ben Mbala or Precious Momowei, both go-to guys and heavy minute players.

Prediction: there will be a new season MVP, maybe JD.
Given that KQ will miss games to care for his new born and his Gilas duties, this will affect his numbers thus adding a deterrent to his MVP bid.
But it's still a toss up between DLSU and UP in the finals.

Adding other reserve players isn't necessary. At any given season, teams don't really give minutes to the last 2-3 guys at the end of the bench. They're already the guys waiting in case of injuries. Probably if the season was much longer it would make more sense.
As for having 2 FSAs (one on the floor at a time), it will give too much advantage to high-budget teams.

NU had Aroga and Betayene.
UE had Mammie and Arafat and so on

FWIW, NCAA also had this rule just recently before our "visionary" board members banned FSAs. San Beda in 2019 had Arnaud Noah and Donald Tankoua as their FSAs and both are in the lineup.
