No Austria? This will be a huge blow. Based on Marasigan's minutes I'm guessing he's not ready.

      • could be an illegal screen, the problem is its enriquez so the referee will just think that he's just flopping.

          • Next year, barring things beyond anyone's control, Adamson may parade a potent frontline with Ojarikre, Demisana and Fransman.

Plus Tumaneng and Perez? Are they graduating already?

Yeah, forgot about these guys. Adamson will have a solid frontline and will still fly under the radar.

Edit: Adamson will have blue chip recruits next season:

                - Demisana
                - Competente
                - Tumaneng
                - Perez

plus they also start the game late lol. they should allot 15-20 mins for the pre-game show so the game can start at exactly 4:30 or 6:30. also the tv or “money” timeout is a bs lol. they should remove it, but oh well they want to milk cash to the uaap.

                  • NU had their chances (at one point they were leading 71-64 before DLSU, or more appropriately KQ went nuts). Some ill advised floaters from Jumamoy and Figueroa jacking up a three late didn't help their cause.

Still, this NU team is scary. Very disciplined and it seemed everyone knew their roles and trusted the system. I also particulary like how they have a specific type of mold for their players (the Figueroa Manansala, Palacielo, Francisco, etc) and for some reason, they keep on churning out these types of players from out of nowhere.

ABS-CBN was able to milk cash from UAAP and make the games more accessible both in TV and the game venue.

What I hate about MVP covering UAAP is their priority. I bet that TV5 will garner much viewership with UAAP than every show in the 2:30-6:30 slot in wednesday, saturday and friday. They also made UAAP exclusive Smart and Pilipinas Live subscribers.

This is where I miss ABS-CBN Sports alot - they were able to democratized the coverage of UAAP and some other foreign sports leagues.

                      • KQ is a man amongst boys (even if 23 year olds are common in our colleges). His physical traits, skill and more importantly his experience is way beyond everyone else. The guy has already played well alongside nba players.

With the exception of UP, I think he's good enough to be like when Kobe was in high school (he would make games close) and then go to another gear and win the games by himself.

Probably the only negative KQ had in this game was the poor shooting percentage (he was 8/19 from the field, I think). Maybe efficiency is something he could still improve, but when he can switch gears and just take over the game when he wants to, all else will be forgotten.

                          • You all think KQ will take that kbl offer once the season is finished? Since this season started a few weeks early, it migjt end around early november too. KBL usually starts late october.
