Unpopular but Here and on social media people love making a big deal about the last roster spot. Like that ever matters in a season. Managment / Owners and coaching staff should make do what ever they want with it. If the guy brings in money line him up. If the guy is their for the vibes and a good teamate line him up. Etc

Its because every spot matters. Whether its the starplayer or last man in the lineup. It matters. Every coach believes that. Im sure they want every one there ready to play and step in, especially if someone gets hurt or suspended. The season is short and fast. Games are condensed and all of these guys need to balance studies and being an athlete. So coaches would also like to keep the guys fresh especially if they want to go deep in the post season so even the last guy in the bench will most likely see action. It wouldnt be smart of them to include someone who did not merit it. In an ideal scenario, im sure they want the best of the best to be lined up.
