Thought they were strict in Acads as well, Flowers and Lenda Douanga were forced to sit out their remaining years due to academics.

I am from the Adamson and I know this for a fact. I had student-athlete classmates (circa 2010-11) who were little to no existent in the class but gets a pass. It was very unfair for regular students like me since I had to overcome the tedious grading system that time (which has been in effect since 2010).

I don't know if things change, though.

        • UP only lost by 2pts vs a KBL team. Migs Oczon is the Asian import of Ulsan Hyundai.

          This UP team is scary.

They were in the middle of the pack, 14-16 record, good enough for the last playoff spot.

                • Francis Nnoruka with 46-20 game for UP team B in a win against Letran in Manila Best. Seems like UP is still in good hands if ever ududo doesnt pan out

What school did he came from? He has been dominating the Manila Best Tourney. Id rather have him now than Udodo since Udodo seems raw. so they could maximize his (Udodo) playing years.

                    • I think Nnoruka has the higher upside but I think the reason why Udodo will be lined up is because he specifically matches up well with DLSU's bigs. He's big, bulky, physical and is quite athletic for his size. I think they are going to need a bruising center to wear down Mike who was a big headache to UP last finals. Nnoruka is more of a finesse type and is quite thin.

He's been solid from day 1 for UP, he firsr played for them in pinoyliga next man cup. Came straight from nigeria but he's kinda older than ududo. He represented his country already in some fiba tourneys but he is already 22. While ududo i think is only 20. So i have feeling nnoruka will move out if he doesnt get the fsa spot this year. He's too good not to be playing as some other team's fsa 1. He's even better than whoever adamson has right now. He might go the mo konateg route, who also came first to up last year then moved to feu when he wasnt able to unseat malick diouf.

                              • Ang galing ni yulo.

At 24, he will receive what, a 24 million peso condo and lots of cash, for his spectacular gold medal in gymnastics. And all this because a japanese coach liked his slick moves ten years ago.

Yulo is a tiny man doing big things. Yet, so many stupid tiny men are not prevented from going for futile things like trying to enter college and pro ball, where their talents and athleticism are mediocre. Their coaches and trainers, as well as, basketball federations, are some of the worst in the world.

The search is therefore always for world-class coaches and trainers first, even before the golden kids.

Yulo is not the only pinoy, big and small, with legit abilities. Dozens of legit local olympic medal hopefuls, not filfor rejects with extra family money from other countries, are gifted enough for the biggest battles. Boxing, martial arts, gymnastics, archery and shooting events, offer much better rewards for sub-six footer athletes.

You leave basketball, volleyball and athletics to the local big boys who are naturally sized for these. It is actually the high tolerance and encouragement of totally wrong socio-cultural values and priorities that are disastrous. For example, allowing those tiny garbage kids of wealthy/ influential families to be candidates for, and then selected for u16 to senior national teams in basketball is criminally stupid. And even corrupt. The philippines, with over 110 million residents, have a lot of 6'4 and taller young men with excellent basketball, volleyball, athletics and swimming championship potential. They have to be selected by good coaches who are not of the atrocious seyer kind.
