Regarding the rumors of UP exodus 2.0, if Gagate still wants to have a pro career he really should move to the NCAA already. Andres is frankly not that good (DLSU didn’t even make moves to make him stay) and probably would not have made this year’s UP lineup even if he were not injured.

For DLSU, I think this will be the final 16 for UAAP, barring injuries:

    KQ
    MPhillips
    Policarpio
    Cortez
    Austria
    Abadam
    Macalalag
    David
    Gollena

    Agunnane

    Dungo
    Ramiro
    Konov
    Marasigan
    Rubico
    Gaspay

Eligible for S87 and have been playing in either Pinoyliga or Filoil:

    Alian
    Buenaventura
    Buensalida
    Romero
    Zamora

I have not seen Jucom or Ogana recently.
toss up between gaspay, buensalida and romero.

I think jucom is already looking for a new team.

They need his presence in the post over osang's perimeter oriented game but he should be second to the last. Balogun in the games ive seen of him is decent, i dunno what his problem is now but maybe the the injury he's nursing is affecting him so for me he should be tied with konateh who's also been decent for feu. Your Top 4 is spot on for me but udodo for me has the highest ceiling of the 4 and should be the biggest riser in a season or 2. Momowei and agunnane as the tops fsas this years speaks a lot on how good the growth of local talents we've had over the years. Gone are the days teams had to find solid fsa's just to compete in the league.
As adamsonian. I have to say Ojarikre sucks so badddd i cant see improve they nee to change him

Media? Idk but i still consider someone a blue chip as Pre and Pasaol was a member of Slam rising star last time..

I will go with Gaspay as the last man.. hoping Alian and Rubico can crack the rotation next year as Jacob and Kean will get huge minutes..

Yeah Gaspay since DLSU frontline is weak compared to UP.

Huh? DLSU's advantage over UP is their frontline.

                I'll take DLSU's 5s and 4s over UP's any day.

                • In the UAAP games what do you think will be the frontline rotation for UP and DLSU?

                  UP:
                  C: FSA, Alter (Bench)
                  PF: Lopez, Torculas(?) (Bench)

                  DLSU
                  C: FSA, Philipps (Bench)
                  PF: KQ, Poli(?) (Bench)

UP still has Gani Stevens and Belmonte.

                    DLSU still has Raven Cortez.

UP is playing Mark Gil Belmonte as a four. I think the kid is a natural 3. Of course in modern basketball, halos pareho lang ang skill sets ng 3 & 4.

I feel Torculas & Francis Lopez are the natural "fours" while Belmonte (MGB), Chico Briones & Jabob Bayla are the "threes"
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

Torculas does have handles, though. A bit of a guard with UPIS, and he's allowed to bring the ball up and drive. And he can stay on his man on the perimeter. He's just a non-shooter.

As for Belmonte, he plays the 3 when he and Lopez are the forwards.

But FSA and Alter will play most of the Center minutes right? And Lopez and Torculas most of the PF minutes?

As for Cortez he's a C not a PF right? So FSA and Philipps will play most of the C minutes and KQ and Poli will play most of the PF minutes?

                          • Belmonte cant dribble right now and his shooting is spotty . Hes gonna be a 3 if he can develop but right now hes 4

                            • UP uses Torculas and Lopez as perimeter players, they're just much quicker with additional wings at the 4 than playing two big lineups

MGB has been showing a nice touch from three during the FilOil tourney, certainly an improvement from previous years. His dribbling needs to be refined but it's adequate for someone his size
