                    • Next game against Jordan.

So Jordan actually beat Korea last U16 whom the Philippines also beat. The game against them might be challenging as they are also the host.

I was able to watch it here, im at the East Coast. There were no commentaries, but the you could hear the PHL bench shouting instructions in Tagalog. All. Game. Long.

                        • Batang Gilas U18 —- 75
                          Indonesia —- 48

                          Cabinolas with 19p & 8r

Lorenzo and Medin with 12p and 11p, respectively.

Not a good gauge as to how the team is because it’s Indonesia but I like what I’ve seen from our 6'4-6'5 guys, Cabinolas and Lorenzo.

We’re gonna need our shooting against Jordan and NZ.

Watching Jor-NZ atm and it seems like NZ is very beatable if we shut down their outside shooting.

                          • In this edition of u18 I never see any guy as finessed, as skilled and as dominant as Mason Amos in u18, (even the kai sotto) wang zhelin batch.. too bad too bad that time..

Ka batch pa niya si hansen yaang and yuto kawashima

Jordan, historically hasn't figured well in youth level tournaments for perhaps the last 24 years or so. But in this edition of Asian U-18 tournament, Jordan is the host so perhaps the Jordanians have a better team & with good preparation.

If only we have Gemao or the big men combo of 6-7 Aries Borja & Lebron James Daep, I won't be so worried about Jordan & Qatar (which we will possibly face in the knockout game to qualify for the quarterfinals. Qatar itself is scary as well. They only have 2 good players pero solid ang laro ng 2 players na yun.
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

I actually believed that the Koreans tanked their game against Jordan in the U16 game to avoid Australia.

But after their game last night against NZL losing only by 9 pts, I think they are really good.
