    Sir, its you that got it wrong. 6.5 feet means 6 and a half feet which is 6 feet & 6 inches as 1 foot is equivalent to 12 inches. Hence, 6.59449 is around 6 feet & 7 inches.

    I think you think that 1 feet is equals to 10 inches hence you think that 6.5 feet is 6 feet & 5 inches.

    It's like thinking that 1.5 hours is 1 hour & 50 minutes which is wrong as it is actually 1 hour & 30 minutes.

          Ano ba Naman kayo , here is the computation...1 inch is 2.54 cm

          So 2.01 meters is 201 cm divide by 2.54cm that's equal to 79.1 inches , 79 divided by 12 inches for 1 feet, that's equal to 6 feet 7 inches

            Yes, you're correct, and Sir Jamskie and I aren't wrong either. We simply explained how the Google converter translated centimeters to feet and inches.

              I think most posters here are familiar with player height measurements in feet/inches & it's equivalent in meters/centimeters.

              194 cm is equivalent to around 6'4"
              196 cm is around 6'5"
              198 cm is around 6'6"
              201 cm is around 6'7"
              203 cm is 6'8"
              205 cm is 6'9"
              211 cm is around 7 feet

                I think Amir just thought that 0.5 foot (or 1/2 foot) is equals to 5 inches. Perhaps he forgot that 1 foot is 12 inches & not 10 inches.

                It's like the common mistake of some people who think that 1.5 hours is 1 hour & 50 minutes when in truth & in fact, it is 1 hour & 30 minutes.

                    It is much easier to simply divide the cm measure by 2.54 to get height in inches. Thus, kai is 220.4/2.54 which equals 86.77 or almost 7'2 and 3/4". Average world nt size is 2 meters or 200cm. 200cm is just about 6'6 and 3/4".

                    To convert inches to centimeters, multiply the inches by 2.54. Thus, 6'7" is 79 inches, or 200.66cm. Oh, a 5'6" person is 5.5 feet as 6 inches is half foot -- 6/12 -- in decimal terms.

                    (I think you can trust me on this: i have had over 60 units of higher math subjects a very long time ago when a peso factually still had value.)

                      I just emphasized that 0.5 foot is equivalent to 6 inches becoz I'm thinking that Amir probably thought/think that 0.5 foot is equals to 5 inches which is a common mistake naman of some people.
