Yeah what could have been. Sprained ACL usually takes 6-8 months to heal so the Alas/Gemao tandem can be only seen if we will qualify for the U19 WC.Originally posted by JAMSKIE View PostComment

Cabonillas looks mobile. But to me Morales, Daja and Diao look to have superior length than the bigs here. Lorenzo has a big body but at 6’5 I think mobility is more important.
Hunter looks to have the length and hops. Is he homegrown? I did not see Medina again. But it seems the team was too dependent on Gemao. Often the play bogs down and it was more of Gemao looking for the cracks on the defense. Definitely not sustainable. And I think Gemao was played too much here. I get Josh wanted to secure the gold but he needs to develop sets that relies on Gemao’s athletic and strength advantage of this age group.
I saw a play without Gemao where the bigger player had a good look from 3 but opted to drive and kick for a worse look. I dont know if he wanted to run more time but generally basketball is a game of inches where teams generally match up well.
