    • Nz fanboys are still trying to project that this is NZ team B or C when it is so obvious that this is their best team. NZ NBL players didnt make the cut on the main NBL league. Illli winning MVP isnt really commendable. Also, majority of current rosters were NBL starters.

Even if they were to bring someone like Tofu, he would likely be a non-factor. It seems New Zealand fanboys are still stuck in a small-ball mentality, even as the basketball world is shifting towards tall-ball strategies. While some NBA teams continue to use spread offense, their players are significantly taller and more versatile than gsw small ball era.

Let us stop the BS and admit that this is NZ team A against team A Gilas without Edu, balti/heading. I really hope that Gilas would play great tomorrow.

        • Edu should try to get as much money as he can before his body gives up completely. His knees are so laughably weak. His latest injury wasn't even a contact injury.

          • Included in Qatar's 15-man pool in the 2nd window is 6-foot-11 power forward Alen Hadzibegovic who was Qatar's superstar player in its 3x3 Under-18 team that won the World U-18 3x3 championship in 2017. I think Hadzibegovic has the makings of an elite Asian big man. He averaged like 13 ppg in the div. 1 pro league in Russia. We all know how high the level of competition is in Russia. I think Hadzibegovic would be a big help for the struggling Qatar team which hasn't figured that well in Asian basketball in the last 8 years or so.

Or his team in Japan secretly didn't allow Edu to join since he is injured prone and they needed him in the team

I think he obtained Qatari passport prior to his 16th bday same as those Qatari players of Bosnian descent who are considered local Qatari players. Hadzibegovic is from Montenegro.

                      No AJ. Hmm.

And this is why Japeth keeps getting called up.

Good thing that half of the team are in their 20's. Tim is consistently fielding tall line-ups. Let's see if this will work against New Zealand.

                        • Odds for tomorrow's game (I will not tell the site as per my friend/agent request)

Gilas is actually odds favorite by 2.5 pts vs NZL... Surprised that Guam's odds are smaller than my expected, especially they will play in China and Chinese are very good at their home.. I will suggest that aside from Gilas, bet also in China against Guam.. that 22 pt spread can be match by china...

QMB’s family is well connected. I believed one of the Millora clan elders are close to Marcoses. I am not surprised that his granddad did secured his passport when he was still a young boy…

And my assumption is they don't like the Reyeses that's why they made an alibi that they did not secure his passport.

                                Well, it's just an assumption.
