I will like to add..
Indonesia have advantage vs Thailand due to good quality system, they continue what Toroman system planted… that is why they already breaking mid tier Asian team barrier for ASEAN teams in basketball, while Thailand didn’t yet, they not yet won against higher rank teams such as Syria, Kazakhstan and KSA, those teams already beat by Indonesia… meanwhile Guam already played New Zealand back in 2020… they have a competitive game there before NZL pull over their strength in the 4th… Guam already played top tier team in NZL as you said that they haven’t yet…

The B.League requirement is that you have to have actually played for the NT as a local. I don't think Japan has an Asian Quota req for countries other than China, Philippines, or SoKor.

But NZL is part of Asian basketball, right? Because technically they playing in Asia even thou originally from Oceania… And NZL is slightly better than Yuta/Rui less Japan, So basically Guam already know playing teams who are better than them… Guam might be competitive in first 3 quarters before they will run out of gas in the 4th… Let’s see… They have the height advantage, the question is they can take that advantage over Japan?

Jericho Cruz is originally here in the Philippines… he could be playing for Gilas as local if we don’t have other options after him.. technically he can play in B league as Asian import… the league has no rules that disallowing Players who played for other countries outside those countries you mentioned, especially if he’s technically eligible in his original country as a local player… And Cruz is still a Filipino, playing in the PBA as local player and a passport holder too… the only time that he will be disallowed if he change his nationality already…Philippine Malditas to FIFA Womens World Cup 2023

Guys like Schonny Winston and Ken Tuffin can't play in the B.League because they haven't played for Gilas yet, even if they are FIBA-eligible.
