They only live games who are involving Mid east teams... Olympicastream site didn't live the game.. I guess Taiwanese networks brought this game for their home fans to watch...

          • I'm only interested on Guam vs Thailand game tomorrow, Taiwan already favored to sweep this round.. plus better for Guam to not all out because the Thailand game will be their biggest match up in their basketball program.. A win will be their ticket to the Asia cup, assuming Thailand will also feel the same wrath what Taiwan did to Guam on Sunday.. so even Thailand will go all out tomorrow... No way also for Thailand will beat Taiwan right now ..

            • This current Chinese Taipei team reminds me of Gilas 1 - youth laden with good quality guards & wingmen but doesn't really have quality bigs, hence it hired a naturalized player who plays center. Brandon Bilbeck is to Chinese Taipei what Marcus Douthit was to Gilas 1. Like what Douthit did to Gilas 1, Bilbeck is to cover his team's weak spot - the middle.

I think Chinese Taipei is the new South Korea national team. This team is well coached & the players are disciplined.

Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

              • I think this current Chinese Taipei team is capable of beating teams like the rebuilding South Korea team, Jordan, Iran, China (which is also on a rebuilding stage). The Taiwanese had already beaten our Gilas team a month ago.

                • Bruenig's absence might hurt Thailand's chances to qualify. Dude is a 15-10 player. How can they fill this hole?

They have Ejesu and Jakrawan in the line up but both will have hard time against former NBL vet Tai Wesley.. actually even Guam doesn't have their own big in Galloway because both was denied by their European ballclubs to participate there.. but there's Tai, who been eating Chinese pro bigs such as Yang Hansen and Hu Jinqui, are better than Ejesu and Jakrawan.. advantage for Thailand is that they have better bench than Guam this upcoming game, but it doesn't matter in a close game situation.. I think it will be a Ross vs Lish match up, whoever have a better game within them then it will be likely get a win for either team.. last match up between these two in pre qualifiers back in 2023, Guam won 75-69.. it was a shoot out between Ross and Lish..it will be likely the same scenario, this time for Fiba Asia cup slot on the line between them...

                    • Guam wins 89-81... Thailand need a miracle to beat Taiwan tomorrow...

                      • Guam can be a competitive team if they have a real coach.. if they stick with EJ Calvo, they will be embarrass at Fiba Asia cup and world cup qualifiers.. they have 3 players who are high level caliber in Asian circuit (Ross, Galloway and Wesley) while they have another players who can contribute (Cruz, Simon, Johnson, Fugergur) in any day... They have some talented players, but they don't have a real system to upgrade... Calvo is lot more worst than Chot or any worse coach I know such as Darvin Ham or CJ Brutton... I hope Guam can figure it out before August.. this is might be first and probably last appearance in this higher level competition since Wesley is 38, Ross is 34 and Cruz is 34.. they might all retire after world cup qualifiers..

Sad reality for south east Asian basketball program.. outside Philippines, other SEA countries can't make it far outside our region.. I have big hopes for Indonesia but been disappointment last qualifiers, although w/o 2 main players such as Micheal Xvavierro and Bolden are not available for them for last 2 years, that hurts their rising basketball program, meanwhile Thais doing shortcut by recruiting Thai-Ams (I can't blame them because there is lack of good players there), the problem is that most of them are ineligible or in twilight of their careers.. Lish is already 36, Lamb is 34, Morgan is 33, Jaisunuk is 31.. the future of their basketball program will be on the hands of Jakrawan, Franco, Bruenig and Ejesu... But that is not enough for now... Only way our neighbors qualify is to host the tourney or expanding the event to 24 teams... In east region, 7 teams might be a lock to qualify every edition (Australia, NZL, Japan, China, Korea, Philippines and Taiwan) and only 1 spot remaining will be determine for other teams.. with Guam have talent while Mongolia is now turning serious in their basketball program.. Our neighbors in the region will have a hard time to qualify in Asia's highest competition event...

                            • Iraq sometimes inconsistent.. they were been good playing higher rank teams while they can be lose against lower rank teams behind them.. even last qualifiers for Fiba Asia cup, Iraq was sent home by India... But I hope Iraq will qualify than India.. I'm tired seeing India always been destroyed every competition here in Asia...

Same here bro. Bahrain & Iraq would beat India for the last 2 remaining slots. I think tonight's game between Taiwan & Thailand is already a done deal - there's no way Thailand will beat a hot Taiwanese team tonight.

So this leaves Gilas as the only SEA team to make it to the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup. Quite frustrating that after all these years, after all these talk about Indonesia, Thailand catching up with the Philippines in South East Asian basketball, all these talk about Thailand & Indonesia gaining significant improvement, pagdating sa Asian level basketball, these two SEA teams continue to suck.
