No one perfect scenario than today because we are nothing to lose... But Tim cone, Boss Al and SBP didn't invite them instead they add finished product Rosario.. I get that chemistry thing but we have to pick best talent in that respective positions...

Becoz QMB has a Philippine passport which he claims to have been obtained prior to his 16th birthday while Mike Philipps doesn't. If QMB's Philippine passport which he claims he obtained before he reached 16 yrs old is indeed legit & authentic, then he absolutely is eligible to play for the Philippine team as a local. The case of Mike Philipps on the other hand, since he obtained his Phi passport after his 16th birthday, he can only apply for FIBA exemption owing to the fact that he has been residing here in the Philippine s for more than 5 years now & has played in local collegiate basketball for several years now.Originally posted by ja.he View Post

Hopefully, SBP will not sleep again in the noodle house and start working on Phillips' and Ange's exemption in time for the next cycle. Phillips would have been great against Lebanon and Egypt because of his energy. Gilas was tired in the last two games against Lebanon and Egypt.sigpicComment

Well, it now looks like SMC has no control on QMB. If QMB is declared by FIBA as Pinoy local player, SMC can't do anything to stop QMB to play in Japan or elsewhere outside of the PBA. I hope QMB's desire to play for Gilas is strong that he will apply for the PBA draft because I am sure that SBP is saying "you have to play first in the PBA before we put you in Gilas." He should just sign a 1 to 2 years contract so he can go to the B-League or KBL. QMB should also demand that he will only apply for the draft if Ginebra gets him and not that game-fixing farm team.sigpicComment
