I'm beginning to dislike Oftana. He reminds me of Matthew Wright as far as FIBA performance is concerned.
Oftana hasn't hit shots he normally makes in the PBA. To think that he is known as a dead shot in the PBA. I say the team's shortcoming in 3-pt shooting is being exposed in this game, especially as Dwight Ramos isn't playing & Oftana continues to struggle with his shooting.
Nagpapasok nalang yung mga 3pts natin in the 4th quarter becoz tambak na, hence no more pressure.
If we look at our guards - Iskati, Newsome & Perez, none of them are natural 3-pt shooters. Since we are already qualified , I hope CTC uses the next window to give young guns like KQ and Amos more minutes, plus add young players in the pool as well, and maybe rest JB and play Ange (ange really needs reps under gilas for future exception purposes)Comment

Arwind Also. Arwind was a Superstar in Pba. He struggled in Fiba.
On the other hand, there are players better in Fiba than Pba.
For ex: Ranidel. I remembered Argentina Coach, and Iran Coach mentioned RDO was a matchup nightmare for them.

I tuned in late in the 2nd. They seemed to have a problem putting separation against HK. Maybe the absence of Dwight was a reason. The commentator was saying Dwight was in and out in the B league because of injuries.
Not having Dwight severely hampers this team. Maybe having Heading there will help.Comment

Oftana is basically a rawer Pogoy. I really hope they don't replace any of the forwards but add more like Caelum Harris, Wil Navarro or Francis Lopez, I'd like to see Caulum Harris develop the chops to take over NewsomeComment
