There actually 3 former Batang Gilas players, who got their passport after 16 birthday, but were granted exempted, as they were able to show verification of application before 16 years old.
I personally date stamp application of passports for future verification to grant exemption for eligibility.

Chinese Taipei's roster in this 2nd window is significantly stronger than the one it had in the 1st window. Current CT team is bannered by 6-foot-2 guard sensation Mohammed Bashir Gadiaga a. k. a. "Abassi", 6-foot-3 combo guard Benson Lin & a new naturalized player who is 6-foot-11 center. Then CT got a number veteran national team players back to the team.
CT routed Hongkong a couple of days ago but we all know Hongkong is a weak team. It would be interesting how the Taiwanese match up against a strong & quality team like New Zealand.
I predict NZ to win by 14 pts. I feel NZ's size & physicality would give them a good edge over CT.
Flavel has been giving exposure to new players to the program , for future purposes
To give an indication of how new , NZ team to FIBA was , the 5 starters (Brit, Corey, Brown , Waardenberg, Harrison)combined minutes for the whole World cup last year over 5 games was a total of less than 5 minutes

Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. It's turning out to be Thailand routing Indonesia by 20+ pts."A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Thailand is using 6'8 Bruenig and 6'8 Jakrawan at the same time. Vincent has no help since Guntara is only 6'5.Attack
