As far as height is concerned, it's more cultural with our preference to Imperial feet plus inches which is obviously more subjective than Metric meters plus centimeters... plus the fact that the PBA, especially in the mid-90's, was very anal with height restrictions... then we got people like Quinito whose brain is still stuck in 1998 (2004 if being generous) and uses his sports editorial job to add 2 inches to every player he likes.
What I loathe are people with the absence of common sense... so between a content creator's thumbnail, Quinito's editorial piece 3 years ago, RealGM, and the official FIBA website... they'll believe whoever gave the tallest one.
That's why there have only been a handful of switchable players in Gilas (actually, si Norwood lang), they're boxed by their positions by height instead of Toroman-era train the 6'2 guy to lock down the 6'6 guy or Baldwin-era train the 6'7 guy to switch to the 6'3 guy. Cone at least has Oftana, Ramos, and KQ who aren't midgets but won't be at a severe disadvantage when they're on the court.

At least Cone likes size, and is trying to develop the perimeter skillset of guys like Quiambao, and like what Tab tried to do, get Dwight to handle PG duties. He thinks the triangle is positionless, so players have to be versatile.

That way, you have all the skillset regardless of how tall you get .

Have enough size and be skilled.
DR and PR are good templates on how we should play as a team.

Diao doesnt seem to know the concept of a pivot foot or a spin move. The guy is stationary and tries to use his length to get off a shot. He really needs a lot of training. He has potential though with his height and length.

De Liano is supposed to be 6’4 but he looks short. When only 1 of our tallest 3 is on the floor we look really short. We cant stop anybody. Part of it is De Liano but the bigger part is having 6 foot SFs. Banal and Chua are too slow at this level they are not felt defensively.
