Since he showed up at Riga (dunno if he is already there since the Latvia game because I haven't seen him unlike in the Georgia game where in he was seen amongst the crowd) we've encountered setbacks. Could we have won this game? Probably yes. Are we playing over our talent level? Also a yes. Sucks but we just have to keep grinding.

Now we already figure out how to beat Europeans (sans Spain, France or even Germany), we have to learn how to beat those Latinos… In 2027, the groupings will be like this, 1 or 2 Europeans, 1 Latinos and/or 1 Africans (if we have higher rankings)… the only way to beat Latinos is to have to learn their style of game continuously and for sure better talents… I’m ok with chemistry but adding atleast 3 players in the pool is a must… we should only stick to just only 8-9 core to this current line up while last 3 should be battle it out who’s deserving… I see 3-4 players here are not deserving to be in 2027 roster… for sure my picks in 2027 are Kai, Edu, Newsome, Ramos and Fajardo (as back up)but not sure about the others…

My dream for Gilas is a reality wherein we dont have a talent gap. You have nine players with NBA expierence? Us too. Probably gonna take a decade at least but that is what I think should be the goal for the program.

That’s the price of being number 1 sport in the country… many are casual fans that just know only casual basketball games…

Yep. Stay the course. Incorporate coaches like Nenad, Topex or Tab to the brain trust. Deepen the pool to 15-16 players and get more reps for our young guns. And lastly, stable communication and synergy between the stakeholders.
