Canada also has a bunch of NBA players. Many of them are either starters or within their team's rotation, some of them are even stars for their teams. Like France, Canada can also go all-in here.Attack

Strong backcourt with shai and Murray, nice wing rotation as well with wiggins(if available), brooks and NAW. Weakness is bigman rotation and I don’t know if Edey would be helpful even if he dominated college

Guys like Trey Lyles, Brandon Clarke and Chris Boucher should be considered.Last edited by ja.he; 04-19-2024, 11:24 AM.Attack

They are missing guys like Tristan Thompson, Joel Anthony and Sam Dalembert.

In a FIBA-type game with less space, I'd take an Edey mismatch against Holiday, Curry, Haliburton... basically who ever is guarding Murray and whoever helps (malamang Kawhai) leaves someone like Powell, Lyles, or even Olynyk at the 4 open. Not saying Edey has to go one on one in the post vs Adebayo or Embiid, but we had an entire tournament last year where even guys like JMF are not doing high post dribble handoffs and just attacking the paint with success.
It's just the smaller court that forces the Euro teams to move without the ball quicker and making closeouts easier that gives bigs a license to post-up... lalo na when teams don't switch.
It was just crazy to see in MoA it was always Josh Hart that ends up guarding the big on the switch thinking that positionless play would work with Bridges and Portis instead of LeBron and KD lol.
