Embiid, Durant, Lebron, Antman and Curry vs Jokic, Giannis, Sabonis, Luka and SGA will be interesting to watch

The ASG has become a joke. This is the only way to make it competitive again. I hope NBA does it.

This is why criticizing players for their (lack of) loyalty to teams is tricky. For Steph, Klay and Draymond who won multiple championships and built the Warriors into a strong brand, they should be given a pass to retire as Warriors if they want to.

Guys who switch teams in their prime look selfish, but when they get old and get discarded, the team is considered smart. It's not entirely black and white.

Yup. For every Lebron there is a Brandon Roy. You dont know when an injury will rob you of your prime in basketball. Better maximize your earning capacity when you can.

NBA is a business, and players only have a small window to earn and establish their legacy. Plus teams would discard players anyway if you are no longer serviceable. Unless you're a franchise cornerstone like Duncan, Kobe or Dirk.

I think Curry has earned that pass, not sure about Klay and Dray, GSW can only keep Curry if they want to remain competitive and have flexible cap space.

As for the on-going playoff series I am more interested to watch the matchup of the ff.

Western Conference

Series between the young OKC vs. coach Willie Green’s Pels
but I rather want to have a T’wolves vs. the Nugs in the Eastern Conference finals because the mountain wolves had(at least) the length and the meat of RG and KAT to somehow contain(a little bit) the Joker in the C position, also, I want to see the match-up of the Ant-Man and Jamal in the backcourt.

Eastern Conference

It’s always been a dandy watching the Celts vs. the Heat rivalry too bad it happened too early in the playoffs.

I’m not a fan of coach Thibs but I fully respect and salute him for want his done for the franchise the past 4 years and the series between the Knicks vs. coach Nick Nurse of the Sixers are worth watching because I like the way they’ve done so far despite missing some key pieces from both sides like Julius Randle and Joel Embiid still had a gimpy knee.
the Knicks management should rest the big fellow until his full recovery to avoid(knock on wood) any untoward thing. I hope they re-consider that the big dude may somehow play in the coming Olympics as well.

I’m rooting for either a Celts or Heat vs. Bucks in the eastern conference finals.

Now as for the 2023-24 Season championship, the Nugs is still the team to beat on this. For as long as the Joker, Jamal, KCP, Porter and Gordon are not aching they still had a big advantage.
No team can match-up with Nicolai once he position himself in the free throw line and start mowing the defender and Jamal starts connecting his piso piso short jumpers.
