KD's more of a help defender, so is LeBron when engaged.

On Book, yeah, I also read. He just underperformed last Olympics. Let's see if he can bounce back in international basketball.

If Kawhi was healthy and willing, I'd choose him. You want a 2-way player with a whole nother gear when things get super competitive/intense. So him or Butler.

I'd probably get a specialist and considering how stacked this team is with no real weakness. How about a 3 and D wing to help lockdown wings like Luka? I would love to have Mikal or just like Metta said Kawhi.

This solves team USA's perimeter defense. Feels like this team is better than the 2012 olympic team

Especially when you look at the bigs. A bigman corps of Embiid, AD, and Bam is better than Chandler, Bosh, and Love. The early 2010's had a lack of bigs that are of Embiid, Ewing, Robinson's quality.

So Kawhi it is. Team is stacked.

Multiple guys who command a double-team (especially against non-elite nba players) and then 3 of the best shooters in the world. Lockdown defenders in the Claw, Jrue, AD, Bam and Lebron (in limited minutes). Then you have guys like Ant and Hali who are out to prove something.

And it seems no one in the lineup is toxic.

Man, imagine if they actually cared about the Fiba world cup and sent this team to Manila. Pretty sure the wives/GFs convinced these guys to play in Paris.

For the past 3-4 iterations of the team USA, they never had a quality big on the same level as dream teams 1 to 3, (Robinson, Ewing, Shaq, Hakeem). No more random bigs for the US like kessler and the Zellers.
