Well that's just unprofessional. NBA players have their own personal chefs just and are on strict diets. Some are even converted Vegans just so they could prolong their careers.

At the surface it seems like that. But, he's been playing organized since 8 and was a pro at 16. It's the fruit of early training/playing up.

Contrast that to our grassroots/youth system where older players dogging younger players is the norm.
