that movie based on a true story will always be on top of my bucket list.

I really do hope that there would be someone in our own backyard had the same personality as Coach Kenny Ray Carter...a doting father, drillmaster and a strict disciplinarian roll into one.

to be honest I'm beginning to be a fan of CAG because of that defensive philosophy he wants to develop at the Buckie's backyard but unfortunately...oh well.

In Europe, many coaches there are strict, That is the reason why European players are very discipline... Comes to my mind are coach Sergio Scarlolio of Spain, Coach Luka Banchi of Latvia, Coach Antaman of Turkey, Bayern Munich and former Real Madrid coach Pablo Laso.. Even coach Djorkevic of China are like this too....

It's good that the old All-Star game format is back. The new format is plain stupid.

Given the no-defense style of the NBA today, I won't be surprised if scores reach 250pts each.

They almost reached 200 back in 2017.

One of the superb shooting performances in the NBA this season, no doubt. One really has to have this kind of offensive efficiency to reach such output. Can't be done with his recent string of 10/28 FG, 8/15 FT eyesore of shooting performances.

Assuming they become available, I doubt if our players can handle the discipline of those you mentioned.

Many in the pba are like that thinking they are “superstars”… remember Petron before they are against Toroman”s discipline approach… even Arwind Santos didn’t like Toroman approach that time… Most of PBA players doesn’t like Tab Baldwin approach too… when he was the coach of Gilas, almost all pba players declined to play for Gilas because of his strict approach…

That is same situation as Petron before led by Arwind Santos are against Toroman style of training regimen.. the reason why most of our players are weak, in terms of conditioning against foreign teams… or remember in 2020 Tab Baldwin led Gilas vs Indonesia qualifiers game, were most of PBA players declined to join Tab’s team.. just like Dickel - TNT situation, most of Filipino players don’t want strict training.. I also remember Shell under late coach John Moran, they kicked him after 5 or 6 games because players are arguing against too much training practice sessions under him… the players don’t like him because of that, then later cause coach Moran to be fired… I think they doing 5 times training session in just a day..
