I hope Clarkson still plays for us.

JC can't join because the NBA training camp is also slated 2 weeks after the FIBA WC... They have to be there... same case also for Hachimura and Watanabe of Japan and Kyle Anderson of China....

Ginebra wants that all filipino tourney badly and at his age he needs a real off season..and with easl around he will be a fixture there

If youre good in asian games you will be good in gilas.. I see opposite, we do well in adrenaline driven fiba world cup.. suck in asian games.. if we have consistency plus adrenaline in world cup.. we get the olympic slot..

The must watch imo is the 3x3 competition.. thailand with Jakrwan and without the thai amas managed to go as far as semis in 3x3., stand corrected 3x3 tournament taht asiad was u23..

That's an if too,if he gets a long term contract,his new team might not even let him go for WC and surely not with Asian Games.

Word is the Chinese will strictly implement the FIBA eligibility rule for national teams, meaning only one naturalized player can be fielded. And with how the NBA training camps are scheduled we can assume that Clarkson will not be available for the Asian Games. But on a positive note all filipino players playing in asian leagues (B league, KBL and Taiwan) would be available for Gilas.

SO if they go to Ginebra core again in sea games (Aguilar Thompson, B rownlee and Malonzo), now it goes deeper why they need Cstan to retire in Gilas..they might miss few games in PBA season and even easl..as brownlee if he decide to stick and train with the guys in the whole off season..

Pure fiba rules so realistic target is the 3x3 if they decide to not amke it a age bracket tourney.. I'll send my best shot on that 3x3 team imo
